Battlegrounds are obviously great, but what about the World in World of Warcraft..
With Cross Realm Zones on PvP realms, World PvP is back in business. And f2p's can take part...

World PvP, you either hate it, or you love it. So where can you find it? More specifically, where can go to have the best chance of finding fun, random, competitive World PvP? By competitive, I mean fighting people who have a chance to kill you, but not the ability to 1-shot you.

This is what I have found for World PvP:

For The Horde
-The most active area to find Alliance in the world is Redridge. However they are usually level 15-20 so usually you will destroy them. So if you love ganking noobs, go forth to Redridge!

-The most active area for Alliance players to be for the levels of 20-29 (that I've found) is around the town Darkshire, in Duskwood. So being cautious of the high level guards close to town, you can actually come across a fair number Alliance who stray too far. They will be perfect to sate your bloodlust. There is another small quest hub for the Alliance in Western Duskwood too. Also, just North East of Darkshire is a nice tucked away area that spawns a rare 'Unknown Soldier' NPC which usually drops green items, which is always helpful for enchanters!

-The Alliance do also have quests that take them all over Ashenvale, so keep a look out for them if you are roaming that forest.

For The Alliance

-South Eastern Ashenvale, just North of the Mor'shan Rampart of Northern Barrens. The entire area around there has a whole series of quests that Horde of levels 20-29 often attempt to complete. You can also hunt Horde by skirting around Silverwind Refuge, in the middle of Ashenvale. Especially checking the Furbolg area just East of the refuge. Don't get too close to the high level guards though!

-Hillsbrad Foothills, there are a couple of horde quest hubs here of suitable level. Check around Tarren Mill and also Ruins of Southshore.

If you are a geared f2p character, don't be afraid of fighting characters up to level 29, I've killed a few who were in the red or even ?? to me.

World PvP means you have to go on the hunt. It's heaps of fun, and it means you can avoid horrible battlegrounds full of level 24 twinks!

I had a lot of fun with Izac and my shaman In Elwynn. Izac mind controlled a mob that a lowbie was attacking and flagged the lowbie. We killed a lot of lowbies and camped them. Yes, I am a horrible jerk but it was funny anyways.

haha, yeah good times. we were trying to MC mobs and have thrallorc heal them, make them super hard to kill. just trying to add a little bit of the challenge back to the pve game at lower levels. in fact I'd say we were doing those alliance a service

Thats pretty genius actually, for flagging an enemy player.

No

The best world pvp for horde is redridge. Its a unique area..horde has no equivalent where lvl 15-20 horde is flagged. PERIOD.Not ashenvale or duskwood. The three corners bottleneck. Your enemiesrange from 12-20 so apporopriate range. I am a sucky rogue so I practice my skills on them. Until 4-5 90s show up and it becomes a matter of skill evading AND killing the lowbies under the 90s noses.

The best part about that place..even if the guards are lvl 25....it doesnt spawn lvl 90 guards unless you get REEALLY close meaning I basically run inside that tower and do my work.

Tomorrow..ill provide a screenshot of daily rogue practice I do . Every day 30 minutes of playtime is reserved just for that.

Thanks I forgot about Redridge. I would say that they usually have no chance of fighting back against you there though.

thats..the point. World pvp=ganking. But they are 15-20 so equal chance. In full times we have 3 f2p rogues running. One takes the graveyard, and two work in tandem at the three corners.

For some reason all the skeletons got removed..but lets just say there was approx 80 skeletons in 1 hour when we were finished. It was glorious
And dont forget the 90s..oh man 3-5 90s patrolling the whole place just adds to the excitement. I mean the 90 is going to kill you its a pvp server..so why not kill the alts.Especially if its alliance

So much alliance trolling...when we get bored of ganking we hop on our 24s..or troll alliance bgs on white geared mages .Either bgs/ganking/trolling

Best place to wpvp is Northern Strangelthorn. We've had 3 of us including a healer take on about 7 lvl 25-30s at a time once. It's more of a challenge than redridge, but there are a lot of 90s who think they are noble guardians watching over their babies.
