World Explorer Question

Hi guys,



I just got Outland explored after an age of grave running, which meant I'd fully explored Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Northrend and Outlands. I was eagerly awaiting my Explorer title and it didn't happen; much to my disappointment. The caption of the World Explorer Title states 'Explore Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Outland and Northrend.' but when I expand the achievement it shows Explore Cataclysm as one of the criteria. To sum things up, I don't have my Explorer Title and the Noble is getting a little stale.. Does anyone know if I can explore the cataclysm regions already? Or if level ones will be able to access the regions required to explore cataclysm?



Would appreciate any information anyone has on the subject.

Well, unlucky about the exploration thing but i'm surprised you never saw it before considering your actually doing the achievement.



Can you get to the new Cata zones on your 80? That should answer your first question.



As for your second, I can only presume the rocket mount would be the only way to get the explore achi's on a level 1, or any other new multi-seat flying mounts Blizz have introduced in Cata.

I actually don't have an 80, which I know is a tad unconventional for level one twinks. I'm going to assume 80's can't visit cataclysm zones so I'll have to wait and hope that I can in the future.



I normally would have checked it but I had all but a few regions left months before the cataclysm updates and as such when I logged on for the first time in months it didn't even cross my mind to check. I just went about exploring as per usual.

you will be able to get it in 4 days when Cata pops ... just pay someone who is touring around themselves and has a passenger mount

Hi,

I can confirm that you can easily explore Deepholm (just requires a summons to get you there). Likewise Twilight Highlands, Vash'jir and Uldum are all easily explorable on foot without help at level 1. The only problem is Mt. Hyjal. Die there and you get sent to the Astranaar graveyard (a 20 min corpse run minimum). I got a little help here tonight from a lvl 85 Pally friend on a two person ground mount (with him rezing me as needed), but after about 300 yds we ran into phasing issues and he was unable to rez me.



I hate the thought of having to sit in a multi-seat flying mount to get this achieve, because I have done everywhere else with the absolute minimal help (only 6 summonses for the entire world, & this is my last zone), so I am currently grinding this one out. Glutton for punishment maybe, but it will be great if I can say at the end - "I did it my way!" :D
 
dora why do you have crusader lol? and get +15 agility to hands :p



edit: and you can get a second agm and +40 armor kit instead of 16 :p

Am working on my second AGM - 4 more trinks to go :) I tried to get a +40 armour kit on legs but I couldn't get it to work - even had someone else try and apply it but still wouldn't work. :( These are not my only weapons and enchants. Carry a variety in my bags. Didn't know you could get 15 agility to hands so big thanks for that - nice to know :)
 
also for exploring you may want furbolg medicine pouch which is +10 stamina. and i just put a patch on but worst comes to worst use haliscan pantaloons which im 100% sure work. also battered jungle hat has 38 more armor than your hat. and [enchant cloak - stealth] is +8 agility and +8 dodge. and haliscan jacket with +150 health is better for exploring.

Thanks - will try the haliscan pantaloons. Am always on the lookout for battered jungle hat but i've never seen it on the AH. Is there any way to get it in game? Again - I didnt know about the stealth enchant on cloak - sounds good :) Thanks. Can't be bothered with the furbolg medicine pouch as most of my guild are high levels and have already got the rep, so don't know who I could ask to follow around to get this. If the opportunity cropped up I would probably take it just for the Twinkyness. :) I have explored everywhere (except Mt Hyjal and am half way done there) already and have a dress with 150 health anyway. TBH exploring Cataclysm zones nothing will help you stay alive at level 1 - lol Most of the time you dont even see what hits you. :D

anytime have fun :) and furbolg rep is four times as easy to get can eaily get furbolg pouch in under 45 minutes now.

I just got my friend a pouch in 2 hours by non stop killing furbolgs. o.o
