I've been trolling forums lately (besides these) and their seems to be a great deal of joy over the 3.1 enchant nerfs. The common argument seems to be either, Twinks are for unskilled children who cannot cut it at 80, or twinks ruin BGs for new players and people preferring to stop leveling and PvP at the top of a bracket.
Does this make sense to anyone? I'm probably asking in the wrong place for unbiased answers but I want to know.
1. I know from personal experience that low level PvP is like anything else, some good and a whole lot of bad. There are the top skilled players, and the people who maybe aren't so good. This is true of every level of PvE or PvP. If anyone on here has an 80 and PvPs, and I'm sure a few do, a DK with a lucky Betrayer drop can and will kill a good player, regardless of his skill. There isn't as much of a glaring example as that in low level PvP, the gear is relatively easy to get and everyones welcome to it.
2. What person that is brand new to the game PvPs at level 19 etc? When I first bought the game, I wanted 60 asap and that was without friends encouraging me. I don't remember the last time I met a new player who didn't have friends, I think they'd pressure him to level and not waste time. I doubt many players have been turned away from WoW by a WSG stomping at 25.
I myself was very glad for the enchant removals, as it makes twinking more easily accessible. I feel for the people who put the effort in to get those enchants (especially Naxx etc.) but I'd say it's a positive overall. I'm hoping this leads to more people twinking, lower que times and more competition.
Sorry for the rant, just been pissing me off that people are so mad over something so little when their are much bigger game problems.
