Why is there no swearing?

This **** shet is just getting obnoxious.

Swearing adds so much more passion and flavor into posts.

I wanna say ''This shít is fùcking amazing'' instead I have to put ''I quite like this, I enjoy it very much''

No swearing is like the Renaissance with no nudes.

It won't be going on for much longer. It has been done for a specific purpose regarding the site, nothing against the community or anything. Just need to keep the site clean for a certain amount of time for a specific application process. From what I have been told, we are not able to discuss the specific application process, so unfortunately that is all I can say.
Myrm might be able to expand a bit more, not sure though.

The censorship filter has just been disabled. Myrm and I tried many times to get Myrm's adsense up and running and Google Adsense kept blocking us due to adult content.

Every time we were rejected I would rescrape twinkinfo content, then spend hours cleaning up all the swearing and find more profanity had popped up in its place. The censored word list was based on a profanity list found in the source code of one of googles own products. When in rome do as the romans do.

As predicted, people such as yourself then started circumventing the censor filters with accented characters and the like. Your desire for some flavour and passion has cost Twinkinfo its most lucrative revenue stream.

This isn't a game. Myrm spent his life savings buying TI. If TI is to continue as a viable business and pay its bills and be in a position to fund the twinkcup prize pool next year you will indeed have to wash your mouth out with soap.

It would have been great if you would have told us rather than springing it in my face and making me feel bad when I don't have a single clue what's going on. I support Myrm all the way and praise what he's done for the community. I apologize, but if you would have told me that earlier, I would have never made this thread or do accents in my swearing.

No, your right you had no way of knowing, the truth is that during the application process we are completely prohibited by the application process from saying anything, if we had there would have been no point to it in the first place.

It sucks that we didn't get accepted but now we have to move forward and discuss other ways to generate revenue for TI.

TI might need a few doctors in the near future.

If a portion of the add revenue went to next TC, a little box under the adds showing that $ amount would be really cool ( logging In the next day to see it had gone up 1 $ or something) . maybe a button under that $ box where somebody can click some number of times daily to watch an advertisement. Then tie the number of advertisements watched to a badge under your avatar or just some way to distinguish people have supported a lot like a "adds watched" stat under the likes received stat .

idk the viability of any of those ideas as my coding is rather limited. but I love what you guys are trying to do :)

The problem is finding people who will actually allow us to run ads, we've had very little if any real success.
