Why everyone so Upset??

You can still Twink you can still get better gear then everyone else not everyone enchant there gear u will still be better then some people ofc it upsets me that my fishing gear will be ruined and my hardworking and well spent money on enchants will be wasted but wanyway. We can still beat blizzard in this Blizzard will never stop me Twinking :)
 
yeah pretty much, not gonna flame it but we really coulda just put this as a comment under the actual ptr fishing gear topic.
 
My priest will definitely have better gear than most. Still doesn't mean with the upcoming changes, that I won't be 2 getting shotted.

Well to be fair casters won't be that squishy, it's just I don't really aim for any stam in my current set cause I don't really need to (with 375 mining, boa, etc). But I'll be rocking this when 3.1 hits.

I'll have an extra +8 SP from Spider-Silk Boots and an extra +12 SP from the changes to BoA staff.
 
skilled and geared priests will still be a vital part to any team, pre-3.1 or post 3.1.
 
The reason i posted it here was because if i posted it anywhere else noone would see cause there is so many other posts...
 
I think that the reason i made this post is because if i pposted it somewhere else, there is so MANY comments so nooone would botehr reading through it whole...
 
i'm goin priest after the patch, you know why, cause all the people will go with hunters and rogues, without noticing how stupid that move is !



in a BG may it be PUG or not, all the classes are important part of the game.

if everybody gets into hunters, then the winning team will be determined by who has a healer in the team.

seriously, have you ever seen a priest right now against any full AP hunters... sorry that priest will put up quite a resistance. and if he knows how to play, you'll just never kill him ! so again stop thinking hunters are over powered, cause there is nothing OP about playing such a class, its just that the guy behind the keyboard is better then you.



try button mashing a hunter to see if it kills, answer is no, it gets killed easily.

just like all the classes, it takes skills to defeat another skilled fighter. best of the best never existed, will never exist. there is only the guy who made efforts to win his lots against those who didn't ! i'm sure not gonna ditch my hunter, he won't change... the ones around me will. and i'm serious, mine hunter actually do not lose much in the 3.1 patch.

I suppose I just don't know how to play my priest, but if the other side is stacked with hunters i'm screwed as it is right now. After 3.1 when I have half my hp, a pet or two on me, a little kiting, and I'm toast.



You say a priest can put up a resistance, which is true, but what good am I doing if I'm just keeping myself alive?



3.1 makes me nervous for my priest

I doubt anyone will want to play a class that gets 2-shotted by any rogue, paladin or hunter.



And I'm not kidding either. I mean TWO-SHOTTED... if you're lucky. Rogues will actually ONE-shot you.



Good luck finding anyone to play that part of the team.

one shot.... and you think priest won't have above 400 life after the patch ?

get serious, even when my hunter only had 1200 HP i wasn't getting 1 shotted.

you're under estimating the class and what can be done to improove its survivability !

post 3.1, i'll be going out with resillience trinkets and all... even if i get only 3% less damage, it is still 3% less to worry about. lots of good gears were not picked due to the need for BOE items, those blue gears for pants that nobody wanted will be quite an addition now. seriously, don't think twinking is gone for good, cause its really not !







as for priest dieing to many hunters...

never said it would kill and be top one in damage, not even if he his healing.

priest are just that a healing class at heart, of course you need people to back you up even if only 2-3 people. and between 5 hunters, against a priest and a pally + whatever else that can dps... you're bound to put up quite a resistence, even if they are twinked !

but i agree that a priest on its own is nothing big !

yeah, good luck trying to play on a team with almost no stamina gear. at least if that's what you're referring to.



adapt. get more stamina rather than stacking int/sp/ap. the time of having that extra 800 health from unintended features is over.



my 19 priest doesn't have leg kits or librams or shoulder enchants or profession buffs or for that matter, any health enchants besides 100 hp to chest. and yet i'm not getting two shot all over the place. my toon does quite well actually, since it's able to use heals and dispel. much more useful than yet another hunter.
