Dorigon
Alpha and Omega
Warlock is a hard class to make a poll for. For one, there are very few warlocks. I originally scrounged up 10, but with the lack of information I had on some, it soon became clear that a more modest 7 would make for a better poll. Every class must be done, so I figured, may as well get this one over with. As usual, try to read up on candidates to gauge who you think would be top lock in poll. Vote away!
Bloish: Bloish (aka Sodawater) was a relatively late bloomer on the warlock class in Cata. Upon returning to the game, he saw Dorigon putting up respectable numbers on his lock, and they worked together to double shadow bolt the opposition in to submission. After several faction transfers, he found himself a cozy spot in TC, but ultimately did not premade in favor of some guy named Krumpy.
Cast: This lock has great damage, and uses fear to its full potential. In order to do so, he consistently deploys his toon in to excellent positions, and can turn fights around by himself. As Cast plays in EU and I do not, not much more is known about this player.
Dorigon: About a year in to Cata, Dorygon came to the 19s bracket with <masta ballerz> 1.0, finding a warlock class nearly devoid of representation. Despite many warnings of the class being awful, he went ahead and carved out a niche for warlocks in the Cataclysm expansion, pushing the limits to explore their damage potential. In recent months, he has been less active, choosing to pursue other endeavors.
Leichenlager: This lock has consistently high damage, with some good CC to boot. Word from Europe is that he is underrated and perhaps a bit unknown among the EU community, but what he is noticed for is topping damage. I know topping the charts does not equal skill, but good players are generally going to put out good damage.
Maineack: Maineack has been around forever, and has found inclusion in this poll due to his exploits in late Cata. Namely, he led TC to its premade victory over WT, for which he was not given even one word of credit or thanks on TI. Now, with this poll, TC has a second opportunity to give Maineack some of the recognition that he deserves.
Sidni: What Sidni has going for her is her vast experience, both on warlock and in life. She was the first or second Bloodthirsty 19 in US (not sure if she got it before or after Pizza), and has been a bit scarce since then. If there is one criticism of her play, it is that she has trouble adapting. She used a wand in Cata, and has been spotted as affliction spec still in MoP.
Zealote: When it was finally realized that warlocks were pretty good in Cata, TC wasted no time recruiting Zealote for their team. His most important contribution, however, has been the pioneering of the warlock FC in MoP. He mastered the now-defunct double leap early on, confounding enemies in midfield with his ability to jump right over their heads. He has good intuition for getting repicks.
