Which WoW PVP is active?

Hi I wanted to play AV - which of these versions of WoW are active: Classic? Classic cata? Retail leveling (such as the mid 40s, etc)?

Retail lvl 70 and have fun facing premades just like in classic

Cata at 85 get AV a decent amount, played it 81-84 too

Certainly not retail leveling, epics don't even pop there anymore.
