Which bracket do you play and why?

Post your favorite twink bracket and why.

eg. For me it's 29's.

You get a decent amount of skills to use.

There isn't as much CC or ways of escaping it.

HP/Damage ratio isn't too bad for most classes.

No mounts (soon to be changed  ).

Fairly cheap to twink most characters and gear is usually easy to obtain.

What do you guys like about the brackets you play in?

It's a good question, and says a lot about favorite playstyles.

I like the 29 and 39 brackets the most, because my favorite twinks to play (resto shammies) have substantial short-cast heals in those brackets. I find both brackets well-balanced, and a lot of variety in playstyles since players have enough talent points to pick up a couple of important things, but not enough talent points to get everything.

Gearing for the 39 bracket was pretty straightforward, but the 29 bracket took months! Lots of rare BoE greens I had to wait for until they appeared in the AH.

The 59 bracket has a much different playstyle than anything I've done before, both in the necessity of using long-cast heals now and then, and the much more bursty nature of the bracket. My jury's still out as how I feel about it.

I'll try the 49 bracket eventually, but I have the feeling it plays like the 59 bracket. I'm really looking forward to giving the 69 bracket a shot, with all the classes pretty well filled out -- that should be really interesting!

Bwappo

19/29/39

39s are very dynamic when compared to the other two. the biggest bonus is that there is great class balance imo.

29s are great because it's a mix between 19 and 39 imo. you have a dynamic feel to it, while maintaining the mountless anticipation game (soon to end...)

19s are always fun to play because there's not much move speed increase. always great to have anticipation and movement skills be the primary things you need to succeed.

as for which specific bracket i like most? depends on my mood :p

49. Tried out every bracket (1/19/29/39/49/59/69/79), and I liked 49 the most :)

19 because leveling sucks.

49 because burst is fun.

39 because balance is balance.

I play in all the brackets, for various reasons.

19 because of higher availability of organized play, lack of crippling on rogues leads to better teamwork, etc.

29 because it also has a high number of twinks, and while synergy between classes is important its not all encompassing; a lot of options open up that just arent viable at 19 (balance droods, for example. Healers get 1.5 second casts.)

39 because of balance. Its still the most balanced bracket, where any class can feasibly defeat another. With the relatively recent hp nerfs, burst classes do stand out a good bit from the pack, however.

49 - Burst is fun, but healing through it is better. The high damage:hp ratio keeps you on your toes.

Havent liked 59s since DKS came out, but they do ensure you at least have someone kinda well geared, even if they dont know how to play, on your team. 60 AV tends to be a DK fest, upgrading guards etc is pointless cause a noob dk can tear through them so fast.

69 because DKs have to work to stay competitive with there gear. A lower number of twinks:normals means higher impact from each twink. Ret pallies are OP, but so satisfying to kill. Every class can be well represented by a twink, balance here is amazing. A little burst heavy. 70 AV can be very satisfying, and seems to have the most even win:loss ratio of any bracket.

79. I've never liked end-game pvp since BC + resil came out, but the 79 bracket's not bad. With the very easily attained crafted resil sets, everyone is on a relatively even footing, which is a good thing. This is the first bracket where you can reliably swap from a *resil* based set to an all out dps/heals set.

39 because of balance. Its still the most balanced bracket, where any class can feasibly defeat another.

Tell me how a warrior can defeat a mage.

how paladin can defeat an affi lock.

how rogue can defeat a paladin.

how can warrior defeat a hunter.

And a few other 1v1s I'm cba to think off. Taking in that the skill of these players is equal. I agree that it is balanced, but still, don't talk bullocks about 1v1.

49 is more balanced. Sure, it's all about who bursts whom faster, but from my experience, any class can deal with another. Also depends on luck.

For ex., Enh shammies do crap to warrior, but if they get lucky and unleash many Windfuries, warr is dead. If warr cannot get off a crit on MS and OverPower, warr is dead. Stuff like that.

39s are balanced in team play

of course there are going to be 1v1s that are lopsided in any bracket

bolded the part i hate about 49

at 39 if you're actually skilled you can beat other people. there aren't as many IWIN buttons at 39 as there are at 49 either. it requires more of a chain of well played moves to beat someone, not a single ability.
