I'm just buying Eternium Thread whenever I get 10G. It costs me 48G per stack (2g40s each exalted with UC), but at least I can sell it for 15G, so I effectively have more than 10G in the bank.

Pretty good idea actually, however I saw that there's vendor that sell it for 2g 40s without counting with the rep discount. It seems like capital cities sell them for 3g.
