What do you want from Twink Info?

As the team has grown the amount of content will too, so what columns would you like to see become regular features of Twink Info?

Meet the Twinks is already back by popular demand and I'm trying to starta Q&A Column, but what other ideas does the community have for new columns?

@bloggers: If you have an idea or see an idea you wish to pursue give a shout out here so we dont get doubles of info :)

i just joined, but i really like the site the way it is now. alot of good info pertaining, not just to twinks, but to pvp in general.

plus it's loose, but not drama-filled. i like it!

I think we should maintain meet the twinks, and add a 'Hot Topic of the Week' or something related to twinks or our forums.

I would also like to get some feedback. As a new blog contributor i really want to share my experiences with twinking but i don't really know where to start, and don't want to just re-hash something that's already been done.

I also think that the bloggers should have an assigned column for them. I also think that one column should be kind of related to forums and either boost them or somewhat show their existence? When I first visited the site, I saw the blogs first and scanned around until i found forums

I'd like to see something like "<CLASS> 101" where a different class/talent is tackled each week. I am not asking for a list of what to wear, but maybe a list of helpful macros for that class/spec, how to play that class/spec to the fullest, gear/chant suggestions to mess around with. IDK if this is already going on already.

IDK what else to suggest, keep up the great work guys and gals. *thumbs up*

if you have a question about anything, usually you can ask it on these forums and get replies. i don't see what else is necessary besides play the arcade :p

I think Meet the Twinks is a great idea, and I like the Q&A thing as well.

Maybe do something like "twink mistakes we all make" and go over a common move like backpeddling or clicking, and talk about how to correct it. God knows I used to click and keyboard turn, and its so much better now that I have everything bound and ready to go.

I'll even do something about easy keybinding if its needed, but yeah, think about it.

There's endless potential. However, I'd just like to point out that as the amount of content increases, it may become important to change the layout of the front page just a bit. For example, it might be helpful for the categories section to be closer to the top, and perhaps to be more than just a list of tags. If some of the columns become truly independent columns on different topics run by different people, it might be helpful to have some sort of "table of contents", or something to better organize things.

This is mostly looking far ahead. I don't think there's a ton of need for it yet. Then again, there are some posts that are still pretty useful, but they're back in the archives somewhere, and the only way I could find them (especially if I didn't know exactly what I was looking for) would be to trace back through all the archives.

Edit: reading back, I think Palynator kind of has some similar thoughts to what I have.

Well, isn't that kind of like a column-ized form of the twink guides we have already?

I smell a whole mess of "3.1, Paladins in the 49" type posts.

Aside from that, how about some video tutorials from the resident experts. Not ZOMG CRIT!!! But videos, per class, that show some nice moves in WSG, AB, etc.

For example, the pretty common strat in WSG of zigging round the fence as the FC as you leave ramp side. Very often you get players in pursuit to stop on the other side of the fence as you come into close range instead of pursuing you around the fence. Makes it easier to beat feet or post-up for a clear mid. Probably only applies to shaman and druids though.

Thats what I mean natural. I can think of multiple AWESOME ones right off the top of my head.

I didn't say it was easy : ).

Linking to good educational ones from the net is nice as well. However, making your own is a good way to put a solid TwinkInfo stamp on the twink world imo.

Why not make a section on 'How to film you PWNing in WSG' showing the basics and then advancing to more pro stuff (special effects, machinima, etc.) and at the end show the product you should have. This will get people into filming more and being able to show us their skills and flaws. Although, I am not a fan of Rogue PVP Videos with only Linkin Park music. (That's a dead cow that's been kicked WAY to much)

I definitely like the video idea, i have made one already http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyCCdpoZy2I (shameless plug) and I am continuing to learn how to use my video software to make some more.

I even had a play around doing the Fony wire frame to full skin model thingy.. Worked well.

p.s. I dont own any linkin park music sorry :)
