What do you think about this forum "officers"?

As you all know, instead of "moderators" in this forum , they are called "officers" like in the wow guilds.

Well, until now I didn't had too much problems with them.

I registred this forum from the begining, and guys like me were "elected" "officers" by Drayner.

I know I don t have too much time to spend on this forum so I wasn't angry not to be made an officer...

I made topics... tutorials for twink 29 warr gear... etc... life went on.

Then I made some topics and dudes begin to delete them.

They deleted 1,2 3, 4... ok. So , a guy like me, with the same amount of twink experience, registred the same time, just because he had the luck to be "officer" (I don t undersand why?) had the power to delete my threads.

Well, i don t think this is right

Probably , if you read this thread, you are lucky, it will be deleted soon, cause, in this forum, they don t like me.

@RC-RT - I selected moderators or officers as their title implies based on their contributions and attitude in the forums. The issue with some on this site is that they want it to be their "Little Playground" to do and say whatever the F they want. Well, that's not what this site is. Period. There is a lot of rope given to members, more than we should give in some situations. It's up to those to figure out how to use that rope. Hang themselves with it or use to to round up some good conversation that is helpful for all of us.

well, i was trying to be usefull.

I have experience in 29 twink mail/leather gear. I know everything that there is to know about this and I trying to share my experience. This is what I was doing on a thread that was deleted : I was comparing 2 of the best 29 weapons, and it was deleted because , probably I wrote "maus" instead of "mouse" because I come from a coutry where we actually read what is written .

I mean, really, can someone tell me why did you deleted that thread?

I mean, does a new twink must know that there is another weapon beside corpsemaker, that he can use, or he must take corpsemaker and never think for himself if he really want that weapon, and if there is one that could be better for him?

Don t I have a right to say an oppinion? If I say that a weapon is better, and another dude says is not, should I be deleted?

Anyway, I haven't played wow for a year now and after all I am a film director and I must prepare my feature film, so I don t have time to share my experience in twinking, especially to someone that does not apreciate it and think he knows everything.

I thought that here we are all twinks and we will be friends, but I guess we aren't. We are a little divided group of freacks and we will never be more than that. Non-twinks will always hate us and they will pwn us with their main when we try to get AGM.

MB you should ask yourself if you like twinking or you just love YOUR twink and hate everybody elses!

As far as the CM vs TLA or etc. it went on for 14 pages then started to turn into a flame fest, so don't act like we are trying to shut you down. I guarantee you have way more freedom than you ever would on any other forum.



On top of this if some one has a problem with something I do I clearly explain to them why it was done, most sites would just straight up punish you for even questioning a moderator.



We have don't have an unlimited freedom policy but what real forum does thats worth even reading? We have it clearly spelled out what is an isn't allowed, abide by the rules its not hard.

Moderation, censorship, and general maintance is the right of the community leadership, and also required for the sake and well being of a community. There comes a time, when any and all communities need to have a mod step into a topic and dispel tensions.

Some absolute truth to this in certain cases... I'd have to say ma dear RC has made a valid point. I have no qualms with you man, I don't find people have a right to be a dick to you just for the sake of being a dick with you, or because they think they're better than you, or they disagree with you. I'd even venture to say that despite Drayner linking those words I've actually seen quite a few of these forums more "elite" people and even bloggers doing exactly those things, especially to people they feel they have the right to belittle. Human beings are all entitled our own opinions, and if we did not have/defend these opinions then we would not be individuals in an already very socialistic society.

mb if you were in my shoes, you wouldn't have that opinion at all. But you are just the "proud" winner of this week epic tabard so why shouldn't you like the "leadership" of this forum?



Moderation is ok, but who decides that somebody is capable to be a moderator? I mean, in this forum, probably, the moderators are american citezens that own a twink... don t think that are any chinesse officers here and to be honest, in all the karate movies, chinesse are far wiser than anybody else.

Look at all these officers - they are all US , even you, the proud owner of the tabard are us...

If this is an - american only site , you should say so .

I strongly belive that if I was from ohio I was at this moment an officer of the 29 branchet.



And yes, this is leads to dictatorship, and I know a dictator when I see one because our country just executed one 20 years ago.

Hes name was Ceausescu and he used to make "leaders"" people from his family even if there were other people more capable of "leading".

there's a difference between mods deleting posts that need deletion based on irrelevance/flaming/spam and mods deleting posts because they like using the power the admins give them too much

The thread you deleted had 13 pages, it contain valuable information about proc rate, damage calculation over time , white damage , and all those sheets... a lot of work ... DELETED! And that wasn't my work, and I didn t even agreed with those who post it, but, still, it was Twinking information.

I mean, you can close it... or something, but deleted like no one ever post that is INSANE!

I really think is for the best intrest of this forum to find that thread and put it on forum... and admit that you are wrong!

Please do not talk about how you never got your fair share in leadership on twinkinfo, because I am sure Drayner knew what he was doing when he picked the officers and moderators. These people have put in more time and have much more incite into the twinking world as a whole and in general knowledge than you. Knowing everything about mail and leather armor at 29 really isn't going to get you the rank of officer or moderator when the guy next to you applied and has extensive knowledge about 19, 29, 39, 49, etc. gear, enchants, specs, and professions. Making a post here also claiming you have no rights is somewhat sad. You live in Romania which I am sure you know your country has had problems with establishing a complete democratic society.The constitution declares Romania to be a parliamentary republic and provides for multiple political parties, a separation of powers between branches of government, a market economy and respect for human rights. That may sound like a democracy, however a major flaw in your political system is that your President cannot belong to any political party. This means he can be either bribed or he acts on his on belief. He also appoints a Prime Minister and he basically can control everything. Preaching about what is right and wrong when your country has been screwed up for the past 20-30 years and claiming everyone to be inferior to you is extremely rude and shows how narrow minded your view is. And do not come back to my post claiming it to be wrong seeing how I actually had to write an essay on my AP world exam concerning Romanian politics and how they came to be.

But if you do that then RC-ST will come back with another thread claiming people's great opinions including his or his friends were deleted and that the moderators or officers were discriminating against him and or others. In which case we have a problem because RC-ST might run a covert ops mission to take out every single person in America that discriminates against him and other Romanians. I am just simply showing everyone where RC-ST is coming from and simply degrading his stance in this thread. My entire wall of information completely destroys his stance and proves 3 things. 1. He is not as qualified as the other moderators and officers to be a moderator or officer because his lack of game knowledge in comparison. 2.
