What do you think about MoP?

I have been on beta for a few hours and checked out some of the changes.

What are your thoughts for "PvP power"? ( Stat that increases dmg vs players, minions etc in battlegrounds and arena)

The melee / ranged weapon change? ( Only being able to have a ranged weapon or melee weapon, not both)

Also im sort of new to this community, been leeching for a short while.
 
Only thing that I'm worried about are the new gems. Naturally resilience gems are going to turned into PvP resilience(or w/e) gems. But since PvP power does not exist in game yet, nor anything simillar to it, Blizzard will introduce new gems. And those gems will have the 300 ilvl requirement. Meaning you can only socket resilience at 70 lvl, but no have access to PvP Power, excluding the little you get from brutal gear. I fear everyone will become nearly unkillable, healers especially.
 
On my hunter on beta Spell Peneration is removed and replaced with PvP Power, so the cloak enchant gives pvp power and the spell pen gems also gives it.
 
Ah! I knew spellpen was being removed, but didn't think it'd become the new PvP Power. I guess it's time to start farming Majestic Zircons and other blue gems. Should be able to make ridiculous profit when mop patch hits.
 
mage is more faceroll,invis improved cs and a nother root/silence and at 70s ring of frost....gg hf mages like cyber gona do 2s solo up to 2.3k easy.

fire mage with icy barrier,2 ice blocks(coldsnap)

Dem hunterz wif the 15% damage reduction buff from Aspect of the Iron Hawk should hopefully make them way more viable in arena and stomp mages and rogues

WOTLK gems that have some or all spell pen will be PVP power. maybe the +attack power enchants will become +PVP power enchants, but i doubt that since blizz has never fixed enchanting from previous expansion changes/patches.

there are issues with hi level PVP gear on BETA, hardly any PVP gear with PVP power. just the necklace, rings. trinkets and weapons have it. and having to socket for PVP power gimps classes bad that get 2x AP per 1 str or agi when it comes to dealing with res-stacked healers. in socketing PVP power they still aren't doing enough damage because they are halfing thier AP in order to gain PVP power. so for melee the new system is not working and healers are quite unkillable. there are some posts on it, but with the BETA PVP has low priority and is getting drowned out by PVE focus. btw...there are warnings/QQ on healer version of monk, but blizz has finally blue responded on that and has acknowledged they are too good in healing compared to other healers

always amazes me how with a huge BETA and then a PTR...that soo much PVP imbal slips thru the cracks. like WOTLK there were warnings on DK's and ret pals 3 months before pre-patch...ignored and went live...took blizz over 1 year to slightly bring them down and then it was still slightly.. there were warnings prior to CATA about rogues opening burst...ignored, went live, but atleast they nerfed that within first 3 months

as for 70's, brutal neck, rings, trinkets, weapons have attack power or spell power now, they maybe will get converted to PVP power? there are also other BC dungeons epics in the game that have AP, and resilience, have to wait and see if blizz changes those too. prior to cata they claimed AP was gonna be gone and replaced with stats based on the user of the weapon....it wasn't, they missed alot of stuff

another thing i noticed come MOP

74's no longer have the advantages of extra spells and talent points. no more I WIN abilities.
