the is exactly the problem, the answer is simple, never sub again, never play this bs again, do u want a game that will suddenly pull the rug from under your feet and wastes all your previous efforts?
Unfortunately Blizzard does this all the time.
The change to make TW open at level 10 and have the dungeon scale to you (instead of you scaling to 30/35/40/45) just killed an active community who farmed TW-specific sets on any toon, regardless of level. A whole community destroyed by one change. And for what?
While twinks are now the TW meta and TW is BiS for a lot of twink gear, we already had this: WoD Warforged dungeon gear. That got nerfed too. I wouldn't be surprsied if Blizzard drops the ilvl of TW gear from 60 (at 11) to ~30 and it'll be a retroactive change.
The old TW system also meant there was a point in farming certain Azerite gear. But now Azerite gear is disabled in TW dungeons. Longstrider used to be a nice Speed boost but then Blizzard accidentally made dungeon Azerite gear too good (for a few days people were getting 300-400% run sspeed) but then they nerfed Longstrider across the board so hard it was worse than before the change and it's completely not worth it now.
Remember all of these changes were to affect something that literally does not matter in any competitive sense: Timewalking. Why are we removing anything fun from what's basically levelling content?
The most fun I've had in WoW in recent times was MoP Remix and that had the same scaling issue: low levels were OP. But at least you got to be OP again at high level if you maxed your gear (which honestly didn't take all that long after Bronze got buffed; I had 5 476s).
I'll echo comments made here and elsewhere: if the intent was for the Warbank to be inaccessible to F2P accounts, if it had been like that from day 1, you'd get fewer complaints. But now people have invested time in the system working as it being intentional. That's just horrible.
