I finally sat down and compiled my pre-3.1 fraps videos and mashed them together to make an 18 minute video. Features 100% 1v1 fights. I didn't have a big selection of fights, and most of them were mages (I had about 3 more mage duels that I had to leave out).

Yep, but I'm going to have to split the FF version to two videos since I had to split it in half for youtube and dont have time to render together before raid starts.

at 3:00 in he is at about 80% health and tries to LOS a mage and cast Holy Light. mage blinks into LOS and he eats a CS. what the crap is that? you could see that coming from space.



and my paladin is fine. both of them, actually. gear and spec.

lets see your paladin, o wise one.



edit: i just realized you might be talking about my 49 paladin. his spec isn't currently correct, since i haven't been playing him. i tossed some points around to see how exorcism was and picked up the talent to reduce the cooldown. that was the whole point. to see my dps with the 10 sec exorcism cooldown.

Yes, I saw that coming, but you should notice from the video how much I lag from fraps. Notice that judgment that goes off yet does no damage, no debuff, and yet consumes my cooldown?



I'm no idiot, yes I made mistakes in this video mainly because of running fraps. I don't consider putting my pet on stay to prevent double fear as being stupid.

First, I was talking about your 39 paladin. No hitting rating to gloves and no vindication is just bad. Second, if you look at the video and at what vircy says its basically him missing on a fake heal (lolag). It was also not at 80% it was more like 65% after the arcane missles finished. But thanks for coming out.

if your computer is a pieces of crap and can't run WoW and fraps at the same time while maintaining gameplay ... don't make videos. that's your fault.



you had no business casting Holy Light in the first place. you knew his blink was up. you knew his CS was up. you know the range of blink. and you know your computer is a piece of crap that can't run fraps and WoW smoothly. your ability to evolve with different situations is lacking, clearly. you can't even evolve with external situations like your PC's performance. :p



i didn't make it far enough in the video to see that other thing you're talking about.
 
Meanwhile you fail on static situations like your paladins gear and spec. People who live in glass houses..

First, instead of replying with something to make you look foolish, i'm going to take those 2 suggestions under advisement. Thanks.



Second, if his intent was to heal himself, he picked the wrong spell in that circumstance. if his intent was to draw the mage to blink at him, he should have thought twice about how bad he was lagging. either way, he did it wrong and it looked like crap. thus, i stopped watching. and he deserved that. he deserved for me to stop watching. we all do stupid things. but i guess only the brave put it in a video on the internet for everyone to watch. but seriously, don't get pissy when people call you on bonehead shit that you put in your video. you do your own editing. if you're not bad, don't post moments where you failed hard in your video. and if you do, don't turn into a whiny little girl when someone calls you bad for it. :p

i'm new to 39 and to ret paladin. i copied my gear/spec from someone else. as most people are forced to do. unfortunately, there isn't a site like 49twinks.com for 39 twinks to get a list of the best gear, rated. it's just knowledge you gain from armory, research, and experience. making mistakes there, i can accept. i've played this toon as ret for a total of 3 days. those mistakes would have been fixed quickly. in fact, with your help, they are being fixed today. :)
 
It's so easy to heckle from the sidelines isn't it? You called him bad basically because he misjudged his lag situation with fraps (something you don't use the majority of the time). Do you realize how stupid that sounds? The reason I responded in the first place wasn't because I agreed with his actions in the video, it was the douchebag way in which you responded. It's just funny that you have the balls to call out his "bonehead shit" and how hard he "failed" when you make even more retarded mistakes before you even enter a battleground. If you had taken the time to post an even remotely constructive criticism then you wouldn't have gotten this response.

and what you are doing is any different? heckling me about my spec and enchants? at least i A) have the excuse of being new to this bracket and B) didn't put myself out there to be judged. if you post a video of yourself making a mistake, why is it wrong for someone to judge you based on that or call you out? it's not.



i don't have shit to prove to you. i've done more for twinking in this game than you have ever or will ever do. while i find your human rights protest amusing, perhaps you should find something better to do than attack people who are simply responding to a video post. you fail to understand that calling someone bad does not mean that you are suggesting that you are good, or better. it's suggesting that you have eyeballs and could clearly see flat out mistakes made in the posted content. and again, if the OP can't handle getting flamed or anyone saying anything bad about the content, he shouldn't be posting it.
 
ok, so he made a mistake. let's not go awall over it. just tell him to do differently next time and move on. no need to tell him he shouldn't make or submit videos, that's his choice.

I didn't enjoy the video purely because it is a paladin video. Sorry, i can't handle it at the moment. Can we have a feral druid video please? Or just something where the gameplay is not completely limited. That mage completely outplayed you in the 2nd duel, but you still rolled face with your 1000 burst damage at the end. Editing was middle of the road, if i could be bothered, i might go look for the HD version. Your skill is overall fine - not that you can show much skill with your class, tbh, i don't see tonnes of lag, the framerate seemed really smooth in most places. You are wrong with how you handled LOS and your spell choice against that mage, but i am not going to judge you on your skill purely on that, admittedly flawed, methodology you displayed.



I'd appreciate it if people could label the class in the thread title, so we know what are watching.
