Upcoming Grandfathers WOD

We need a list of everything that will be grandfathered. I'm either too lazy or inexperienced to put something like this together myself. I'm sure everyone would really appreciate someone creating a thread for this. Or you can post here and I will edit into OP. W/e works.

I have my suspicions concerning Garrosh's Pardon - Item - World of Warcraft, since Garrosh might not be around it's hard to tell if this quest line will be completable.

Someone posted a SS recently with rewritten quest text and the same rewards

I have a feeling that the BFD quest rewards will be GF'd though, since it hasn't been updated since the initial revamp on alpha. I think boss loot "might" change, alot of it is named stuff so they have to at least rewrite the names like the RFC stuff. I "think" there are 2 new bosses if remember right.

Some 1who had beta said That you coukdnt complete the quest yet, changes are still going on.

Everyone is saying Heirlooms not purchasable by F2P, yet I haven't seen anything on this. Can someone toss me a quick link?

Also, is there any update on the heirloom Tab, perhaps? Last I heard it wasn't being released with WoD, but something more down the line.

Those people that are referencing the three jp heirloom items (2 shields and a book). Too lazy to type the link but check the changes for ftp in the 2nd post.

Yep, seen a couple of posts (here and there) about it being made sometime after WoDs release date (6.1ish?)

Honor and Conquest definitely are not going away, just to clarify a misconception - you'll still be earning those currencies through PvP and using them to buy your PvP gear.

What will be going away is Justice and Valor. Over time, they've moved away from their original purpose, and given how widely available they'd become (awarded from quests, scenarios, dungeons, raids, etc.), we'd rather return to the original universal currency: gold. The final values aren't hooked up yet, but the old Valor rewards for completing your daily random dungeon or an LFR wing will be replaced with a hefty sum of gold, which should make something like the gold turn-in for a bonus roll seem far more attainable even for players who currently don't have much gold.

That said, the feedback/suggestion of allowing repeat turn-ins definitely has merit, and it's something we'll discuss and consider.

It's a good bet that for every justice point they currently cost is how much gold apiece it'll be.

Despite being a F2P player mostly these days, I find the gold use a very good idea. I wonder, if say, I have 4000 JP on my F2P account, which has a 10 G cap, if it will simply just mail me the remainder (As I imagine it might to a P2P with the gold cap). It seems like a probable way to do it. I imagine the "refunded valor points" will be dealt with like previous points that went away, and keys, in which they mail you gold. Of course, for F2P with no mail access, this is a bit useless, but still an interesting look at it.

I'm interested to see how it will turn out, and will snag what I can extra in the mean time for my F2P.

Granted, when and if Heirlooms Tab hits for F2P ( I assume F2P will have full access to it, given we do mount+Pet tab), it wont be an issue, as I have all of the heirlooms stocked up on my main client. Never hurts to prepare, though! I've been working on getting multiple weapons as Warriors are getting Titans Grip at low levels, anyway. :D
