Are they bis for 39 prot warrior? I have another set and I'm thinking about rolling a toon I can enjoy. Can't play brew because I'm not gimping myself it makes me sick. And I don't like WW play style. FoF is more op than guard, and it's just dogshit. That's my opinion anyways, if you like it more power to you. So anyways I came into another out of them bracers and would like to roll a prot warrior I they're bis so I can have a bis class that I enjoy playing and don't have to remove abilities from my action bar on.
 
For a dps prot they are more than likely bis . Prot is also very fun IMO as you are always getting procs that you need to react to and it's the only tank spec class that does take more damage than a normal dps :)
 
Arms>prot too, tbh. But it's a lot less fun >:3 Something's just really fun about thunderclap slowing and dotting everything within a 12y range of you. Arms doesn't usually have the rage to spend on whirlwind/tclap spam, but that's some chunky aoe added when everything is rended already.

Fury brings nothing that an enhance shaman doesn't do better besides mortal strike. I started out as fury but I won't go back now that I've used the other two specs.

As far as those bands... Yeah they're one of the things you could consider BiS. 7str/12stam/5crit is better than the SM bracers' 6str/9stam/5crit/3haste. The real difference in performance from 1 str and 3 stam is negligible, but I know people who crave BiS aren't interested in that xD

Other bracers to get would be revelosh's 12AP/7stam, and possibly Noxxion's Shackles - Item - World of Warcraft . Not sure about those, though.

Real question though, where are you coming across these things?

PS: Sorry to hear about your opinion on WW :( It's my fav thing to play, though I do think too much dmg is shoved into FoF. The mobility/utility and procs/cds to juggle just makes it a blast imo.

Thanks for the opinions. I'm gonna build a prot set first then arms. I have a few old friends on btag that played 39s they don't log on often but when they do I can usually manage to talk them out of a piece of gear sitting in their bank.

Running Prot DPS will make you for the gays.
 
If you could talk them out of some eagle bands I'd call it even for the advice xD
