anybody have any fool-proof methods? I have two on Jinna and am playing her less and less, so considering my server's economy one of those Shadowfangs could become my Epic Flying skill on my main.

Any suggestions/stories are appreciated.

You can unbind it using the same method you would use to get exploited enchants which Drayner will most likely announce soon.

Holy poo its Jinna!

Read the front page on how to get the exploited leg chants to unbind. Doesn't sound to hard and best of luck to you. I wish we could talk more, but vent is busted. Just call me up, if you need my number just PM me. I got A LOT to talk to you about and my mobile is on 24/7.

Once again, best of luck.

you cant unbind actual soulbound items

if you dont equip exploited legs they arent actually soulbound

thats why it works

Ugh yeah you can. I already have http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44159 and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41604 for my 19 priest so I'm pretty sure I understand how it works. Shadowfang is BoE, so if you reset the item (ie break it and then log out so it loses enchants and then becomes unbound) then you can mail it to someone else who repairs and gets it.

youre ********, you cant unbind items that you actually equipped

go try it, it doesnt work

I've traded my bound Staff of the Blessed Seer back to my main. You're doing it wrong if it doesn't work.

considering iv known about this weeks before anyone else has, im not doing it wrong

you cant unbind greens/blues you actually equipped to your character

believe me, i have tried it many times this way.

just for you.

when you put on a enchant that binds the item, its more of just a pseudo-bind to prevent people from just throwing on a enchant and mailing it off

the item doesnt really go soulbound until you right click the item to equip it

go try it for ur self.

buy 2 random green weapons, must be green or higher quality.

put a random poison on both of them, after they have the poisons on them equip 1 of them and put it back in ur inventory and leave the other one in ur inventory the entire time and go break both of them and log out

the one u equipped will still be soulbound after you broke it, and the one u didnt equip wont be

so its impossible that you unbound your blessed sear after equipping it to your char

the only way you unbound it is if you put a poison/shaman weapon enchant on it and mailed it off to your twink, then didnt equip it and rebroke it and sent it back to your main.

only reason why any of these exploits work atm is because blizzard is lazy with how enchants work i guess.

no real reason to have 2 different types of bindings ~_~

True. Tried it long time ago. Patches - yes. Soulbound, equipped items - noes. EOS.

You could ask a GM to un-equip it for you, a friend of mine did that. But if you have used it a while, I dont know if they'll do it :p

GM can 'un-equip' and item for You up to three days after equipping it. This is the official rule. Tried to do this - GM said 'more than 3 days - sorry'.

anyone else getting ''item lvl to low when trying to put the enchant on''

tried it with the argentt crusade head thing on a blue lvl 27 helmet and got

''item lvl to low''

You'd really have to describe in more detail what you are doing. I tested out the Kirin'tor enchant on some engi goggles and the process worked as described.

Either way I wouldn't worry about it as the enchants are clearly not intended to be on these items, and if anything we can see from the PTR that something like this won't stay in game.

What you need to do is unequip the Shadowfang and destroy it while it's in your bags. NOT Delete it, DESTROY it. After it's destroyed, ticket a GM and have him restore it for you. Once it's restored, it will arrive in the mail as a BoE.

i got the aracanum from argent crusade that gives 37 stamina and 20 def rating i took the frostraever crown helmet and started to put the enchant on it. i started to cast but just as i was about to complete the cating i got item lvl to low

I don't believe these are working on blue items. Sorry I don't really feel like spending more gold on something I don't intend to use to find out if it works on blue items also.

As for the poster directly above me talking about deleting and destroying items, you might want to clarify the difference rather then just assuming folks will know. By destroy do you mean disenchant or vendor? Or you do mean drop it out of your bags and click delete?

I figure since it's a high priced item like a shadowfang he doesn't want to end up with nothing.

Hey guys, been reading here for awhile and thought id make my first post.

I have tired this but it doesn't seem to work for me and I have also done the delete thing and then told a GM, he send it back in the mail for me with the enchant on and it was boe but once I took it from the mail and into my bags it turned into sb.

More info on this please.
