Twink Chat Channels

Sure some servers are doing this already. /join twink39bracket or just switch the level /join twink<enter max level for that bracket>bracket .

I suggest that you whisper twinks that you know to join this. You are bound to get some that wanna join the channel that just wanna cloud your channel with hate spam about twinks.

/chatlist <channel #> to see who is in the list.

Hope this will make it easier to get games together.

we do this on our server, it started as a guild specific channel for a 29 twink guild, but it is slowly growing to include mains alts and twink for players from 19s all the way to 69s.

I vote for more of this sort of thing.

i like to form a guild and use guild chat instead. ventrillo is also a good option. i don't think i've ever seen a channel for twinks and it would seem more difficult to set up than a guild or vent, but that's just imo.

That would be ideal

I wish that it could be that way also. Alot of twinks on our server jump from guild to guild. Some have their mains in a guild and keep their twink there to hear of guild events taking place. Some even have multiple accounts and use tabs to avoid the wait time in the mail in their own personal / irl friends only guild.

guild chat is preferable yes...however...you cant force people to put mains or alts into your twink guild....there is also the issue of there being maybe multiple twink guilds that you want to coordinate with from time to time.

Maybe you just gotta be lucky on having people willing to do it...but telling somebody to type "/join twink" is pretty simple and most people are willing to give it a shot.

The game guild wars did an interesting take on this and created guild alliances in game that had a /alliance sort of chat that you could talk in. You could just put all your pvp guilds in an alliance and go to town. Maybe blizz should look into it.

ive tried this multiple times and people join and spam their macros so its never really an option for me trying to do arenas after my guild disbanded

Thats too bad.

We dont openly advertise our channel, we simply give it to guildies of the various twink guilds so if they choose they can join the channels on alts and mains to see if any particular guild is running in a particular bracket. It does come down to a trust thing I guess and all could go stupidly if sombody rages for a particularly bad reason. But the twink community on our server is pretty solid as far as that goes with little to no drama outside of one or two people that we do not include in this sort of thing.
