Trials and Tribulations of Tazik Shocker

Here's something to share with you guys!



Twinking is defined as having the best of the best. The best gear, the best gems, and the best tinker (aside from skill). The infamous Tazik Shocker is considered to be the best tinker for the 70 bracket known to WoW (opinions are entitled) and desired by all.



Quick elementary math, 1 out of 8 chance that would be a 12.5% chance to get the Tazik Shocker...



With that being said, here is the week grind worth of items I spent on leveling engineering 3 times!



Attempt 1: Motivated and ready to go!



Kinda discouraged but I knew I had to keep my hopes up.



Attempt 2: Let's do this!



I was about to give up at this point.



Attempt 3: Third time's the charm?





Heart sank...



So should I say never give up for all the future engineers out there? I don't know. I honestly was about to give up if I didn't get Tazik by the third try and just retire on my warrior. What I SHOULD say is... may RNG be with you! Chyea! HAHA I GOT TAZIK!

Thanks xD! I'm extremely lucky though, I've seen posts of people that have tried 8-9 times and still haven't gotten it =[ ...

Personally i got it on first try ( i went gnome tough ) and i will probably re-roll engineering for synapse as the benefit is bigger on my rogue.

Just wondering how it is better? I just leveled engin on my rogue and I got invis tinker (lol) and I was going for tazik. Explain if you would please!

The Agility ( 480 with synapse ) has a 1 min cooldown which does mean that you can combine it with every dance you have, which brings us to some insane burst damage - ambushes, that is in fact better than tazik = 2 min cd = who usually hits for 3 k ( at least for me ) on hard resi healers or less.

I'm amused.



However, congratulations on getting it, I spend 11 tries as a gnome (33 tinkers) and got it on the 32nd.

Obviously it's a taste-issue, but as far as I'm concerned, then synapse > tazik as a mage. Anyway, have fun with it ;)

look at gear set all the gems and gear mix.

but you are soo good at this bracket that you dont even know whos is bad or who is good untill someone like me is gonna tell you.

ait there is no armory of this mage lol, but im sure he is bad, do you no why? cuz he is just another frost mage clone.

I'm still level 66 xD... I just wanted to share with you guys how lucky I got with Tazik...

Getting 1900 in 2's is hard yo?

And gee, 4 rbg's? And still you feel like you're in a position where you can disrespect every opposing guild? (RNG, Calcium, you name it)

What a pity, nothing but an embarassment.

First of all, i do not praise my self anywhere, second thing i do not disrespect any 70's guild and i'm sure Eleanor can confirm it, i have a huge respect for any 70's guild and what you might see on these forums is a little part of a competition spirit.

I do not pvp on my warrior.

And yes i am indeed the best pve warrior tank in the bracket.
