Anyone speaking honestly about WoW retail PvP knows one faction dominates at all levels including endgame.
Although, I doubt this would ever happen, as much as Horde and Alliance hate each other ...
but in Star Wars, the Empire and the Rebel Scum Republic, are, or were, just as bitter rivals.
However, iin another game I played Star Wars the Old Republic, where I played exclusively Empire side and we dominated Republic so hard, we all would suffer excruciating long Q times.
Since regular BGs/Warzones have to have full teams to begin, unlike WoW, where you can get 4 v 10.
The Devs in SWTOR decided enough is enough and initiated during one of the last major patches cross faction PvP.
After people bitching about it for a few weeks, everyone got used to it and PvP was more fun in general.
Now, I know hard to imagine Dwarves and Orcs or Dranei and Blood Elves, etc. on the same team.
Just like in WoW, all classes/specs are mirrors, except talents have different animations and names.
Sith and Jedi, Operatives and Scoundrels, Sith Assassins and Shadow Jedi, Powertechs and Troopers,
Mercs and Commandos, were equally odd couples playing on the same teams.
As a former subscriber and active PvPer in SWTOR, all said and done, it restored health to the PvP side of the game and we had shorter Q times, more competitive matches, etc.
Do I think it would ever happen in this game, no. Might be interesting/refreshing if it did though.
Just my 2 cents,
