I'm a Farrelly Bros. fan just like the next guy.. but this thing has "Waterworld" written all over it.. A single narrative full length feature? When the strength was always the over-the-top short story shenanigans?

Sean Penn as Larry???

Benicio del Toro as Moe? Did Moe ever mumble? How about over the course of an entire episode?

Jim Carrey.. meh



Am I wrong to think some things just shouldn't be "modernized/updated"?

Reading that story I got that bitter unsettling feeling that I got watching the South Park episode where Lucas/Spielberg "had their way with" Indy



The thing will still probably out earn anything else that weekend anyways so .. w/e

Remakes either have two outcomes:



1) God awful

2) It was okay ...



I am no fan of 'The Three Stooges' (not my kind of comedy) but a remake ... really? I can not think of a single remake that was worth seeing. Remakes usually get all hyped up, the box office is FLOODED on opening day and then the movie fades out, no one even talks about it the next day.



Just a waste of time and money that could be spent on an ORIGINAL idea for a movie that's actually good.
