What is the fotm? Im thinking about making an enchancement shaman, also what would BiS look like these days? Thanks in advance! Feel free to throw down any tips that could benefit me and the readers aswell

Is the hat/lens still BiS at 39?Disc is strong at 39 - normal service resumed
Whatever class you pick you will want Engineering on it.

Lens is good - 13 Int / 20 Stam plus secondaries if originally suffixed. Glass cannon: Spellpower Goggles Xtreme plus 27 int, until I have more time to play with builds I'm liking master Engineer's Goggles 23 Stam / 20 Versa. I'm at 13.50% Damage increase and 6.75% Reduction passive from versa. Looking to see if I can find a bit more too

if you ever see any epics on your AH that are scaled epics you are lucky to see it. so you definatly should buy it. they are not common at all. at least not right now. also i updated my gear on shaman and threw on a gear towards being elemental/resto. at least thats what im working on using gear thats not dungeon stuff.

I've never had much luck with Epic BoE's on my 39's , My Horde monk has the most - both rings from the Halloween event, Both weapon slots, and Unholy Gloves of Might. You need either a friendly 110 or a second account to farm Epic's and I would n't always count on getting the drop you want. Like the Epic Plate shoulders I got my 39 Horde Disc !
If you have the gold AH is always a good place to start, this is how I look for items,
Search Weapons 1st set to level 37 to 39 and Quality to Epic, reason for 37 is some Epics start at 37 and may still have an advantage over a 39 Blue, then 39 - 39 Common. I repeat this for armor, the greens you should be looking at will have a level requirement of 39 and an iLevel of 43, these are pre 7.3.5 suffixed items and seem to translate best to the new suffixes.
I may have missed a trick but the above method has netted me one or two bargains
I dont have any auction addons so there may be a better way to do searches ....

Huntards are still very strong, Disc and SPriests are very strong, Any Monk (lol), and Resto Droods. Most (if not all) classes are viable though, so I'd recommend playing what is fun for you vs rolling an OP class, because that is ALWAYS subject to change. Just my 2¢.

I haven't played 39's continuously since patch, but I'd say Discs are slightly ahead of hunters, might be I just haven't met a geared twink hunter yet.
