The Legend of Mornii Wood

Mornii, once the son of a prominent Dwarven general years ago, was cast out of his house when he refused to fight against the wrath of the Lich King. He instead wished to lend aid to the Night Elves of Ashenvale, as he hated the Horde with a passion not seen in his race for centuries.

After a long, tumultuous venture from the wintry slopes of his native Dun Morough, Mornii finally arrived in Ashenvale. The Sentinels there greeted him warmly, but were suspicious of his hatred. When the battle for Warsong Gulch broke out, Mornii was one of the first Dwarven warriors to go to war.

On the battlefield, Mornii was a monster. He not only slew his opponents, he waited for them to be ressurected, and slew them again at their graveyard. One brave and muscular orc brute, General Sorvok, had enough of this Dwarven devil.

Sorvok was a telented warlock. In the years of the Burning Crusade, he had witnessed the downfall of Illidan Stormrage, and he had spent some time fighting the Lich King years later. Being a clever orc, Sorvok cast a Soul Stone upon himself, and lured Mornii atop of a tree trunk. Being a warrior, Mornii had no way of climbing to the top of the trunk except his Charge ability...

It was then that Sorvok seized this opportunity. He had a particular spell at the ready - on that had won him countless battles. It was... FEAR.

He cast fear upon the poor warrior, mid-charge. This caused Mornii to lose control of his avatar, and he charged directly into the tree. A nearby druid saw this, and healed the hole in the tree trunk as soon as he could, causing it to grow around the Dwarf.

And so it was that the legend of Mornii Wood was born.

Edit: (If read with an English accent, this is funnier).

Some names may be fictional. Changed to protect the innocent. The stories are real.

Many ages ago, in an era almost forgoten there was a dwarf named Elliote. Now small, tiny Elliote prided himself on his ability to jump to unreachable places. He practiced long and hard. He dedicated his entire life mastering these manuevers. Often times avoiding everyday tasks like bathing, eating or getting out in the sun. He thrived on finding out new ways he could exploit certain areas of the map to give him an unfair advantage against his adversaries. After many reports to the evil game masters, by friend and foe alike, it was decided he must be punished. The GMs thought long and hard. They decided to place Elliote under the stump on the map. Trap him, rendering him unable to move or jump again for all of eternity.

There you have it. The story of the dwarf. All in good fun.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land on the outskirts of the Barrens, bordering Ashenvale, a war raged among the night elven and orcish inhabitants. A young dwarf by the name of Juan braved the journey to this war-stricken land, and fought for the honor of the Alliance.

THEN A TREE ATE HIM.

THE END.
