Wow Vinod, I heard that all the way from another thread and ran over here to see what happened!
As a bracket with no mounts, 29 battlegrounds allow for more individual skill to shine, and have a lot of stop-and-go to them. Smaller battles break out all over the place, and one or two people can make a difference in any given battle.
Adding mounts effectively reduces the size of the battlefield, so it is easier for players to engage particular battles. Add to this a 50% reduced casting time for mounts, and we get a very Katamari Damacy type feel to battles, where battles just roll up additional players. Group coordination and team support will matter more.
Adding mounts does three things. First, it raises the intensity of the BG (more time fighting, less time travelling). Second, it provides more playtime for ranged dps and casters. Third, it provides a slight advantage to the winners of a major battle, since battles are more likely to involve the majority of both sides, and therefore the people left standing won't have follow-up battles to wage for a short time.
All the other brackets (except 19) have this, so it would have been nice to keep the 29 bracket different. I haven't played in the 39 bracket for awhile, but I imagine these brackets will work pretty much the same when 3.2 lands. I would definitely be okay with this if my shammy could have her cleansing totem return to the 29 bracket.
...But seriously, while I think the 29 bracket will still be fun, 3.2 will mark the end of an era.
