Switching to Holy, looking for advice.

Legend
Hey, I am currently a Protection Pally in this bracket and have quite a lot of fun with it in general but I fancy throwing some heals around the place for a while.

I have almost collected the full Holy Brutal set but haven't a clue how to gem it (or enchant it for that matter). I don't think I want to gem pure Resil as I would like to do some damage in case I'm caught alone somewhere.

I am aware that the full PvP set may not be the best choice but its easy enough to get.

Basically any advice on Gems, enchants and even spec / play style would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

10 Int 10 Res gems then? I have 3 sets, 1 full int, 1 int/res and 1 full res, I mix and match depending on what I'm doing/what I want to do. But for balance do half half? If you go full res rogues/mages will still faceroll you if they're any good (and you have no CDs)

Thanks for the info :)

Im just basically looking at every Holy Pally I see doing well in Bgs atm.

i am almost done leveling a paladin myself, and i'd really like to get some holy infos as far as BIS goes etc. my main is a paladin but i'm full time ret so i don't really know a whole lot about stat priority for pvp. :(

stack haste for EXO spam :)) (REMOVED in MoP, finally...)

Just get between 600-700 resil and have the rest as int gems. Think holy paladins are probably the easiest thing to gear. Legs off kalecgos with T6 2 piece and the rest pvp gear is pretty common I think.

Nah. I'm not gonna feed you the answers.Think about what spells you use or don't use, then take a look at where you spent your talent points; you might figure it out for yourself.

retardedly good yes, name 1 thing that could be better

I've been lurking for a while and finally made an account, your spec is awful. I realise people appreciate the help when gearing a new toon, but spreading misinformation should be stopped.

Picking up Clarity of Purpose for Paragon of Virtue makes my face hurt. I'd also argue your Gylph of HoJ for DP, but I'll leave that for a player decision.

If you got decent positioning and partners who can stop a shatter while ur in a deep you don't need PoV, clarity of purpose is obviously good in spread dmg situations for HL and when ur oom, not to mention DL when you need a big heal, dno if you even play a paladin but flash does 6k, 99% of the times I use DP sprint is to get a HoJ of, so obviously im gonna go with hoj glyph, not to mention its great for grip>hoj>strang rotations and not getting feared in those situations

oh and im talking about arenas as you've probably noticed by now.

Clarity of Purpose
Reduces the casting time of your Holy Light, Divine Light and Holy Radiance by 0.5 sec.

DL is a big heal, the talent reduces the cast time of HL and DL, now about flashes, 6k - 25% = 4500 heal, not even 1 ambush against a geared rogue, but ye keep spamming those flashes and watch your partner die when ur not even cc'd, lol.
