Sunfire for boomkins..yes!

So I decided to try out sunfire enchant (+38 fire and arcane SP) for my 24 boomkin Rangoon and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that spellsurge gains the 38 SP bonus from sunfire REGARDLESS of what eclipse phase you are on (or on none). Spellsurge and starfire gain power and since they are the harder hitting spells, that small SP boost scales upwards for those, moonfire also gains power. Rejuv, wrath and sunfire dont benefit from this at all, but the difference in dmg/healing is low since they are the weaker spells / heals.

I thought I'd share this finding with the other boomkins out there if they don't know about it yet.

Did you write spellsurge on purpose, or did you mean starsurge? Anyways, think most people know all arcane / fire school spells benefits from its source of spellpower, regardless of eclipse phase.

and all this time I thought it was called spellsurge haha. maybe because it says spellstorm damage in the spell definition. . . I meant starsurge yes

Thanks for the Info ^_^

So what you mean is that *spellsurge* aka starsurge belongs to the Arcane school, and Rejuv/wrath/sunfire don't (they are supposed to be *nature magic*) right?
Or did I miss anything?

Oh and eclipse does not change what school of magic a specific spell belongs to, fyi =D
