I've been twinking at 70 for a while but stopped doing so about a year go. I'm bored of the 85 content and thought about going back to 70. But before doing so I would like to know more since I've been absent from the twinking scene for quite a while.



Do you still need a BC account to play BGs or can you actually get into BGs (XP turned off) on a Cata account?

Are the 70 twinking scene active in EU? If so on which servers?

Are the arena bracket active? I've remember waiting ~10mins or more in queue

Any additional info would be nice

Oh and btw I have a bis geared 70 rogue and druid (resto and feral gear)
 
Alright first of all no, having a tbc account does not make any difference anymore, in fact every 70 with locked exp is in the same bracket.

On a cata account queues are about 5 min ish for bg's and ista queueue for 2's 1 min ish for 3's.

The 70's are very active in the last period especially in the guilds of Born To Survive who is currently #1 eu rbg - pve wise on frostwhisper.

Mages > Rest.

Once you accept that the class has some unfair buffs you enjoy the bracket, damage is not proportioned, healing as well is unbalanced.

So basicly bracket is partially screwed but overall it's pleasurable.

Pretty much what Camael said, you will have to deal with the fact that the bracket is really not balanced at all. If your looking for decent realms, horde = frostwhisper, alliance = defias brotherhood. There is also a lot of drama between guilds as you can probably see by taking a quick browse through these forums, too. There are level 70 communities on pretty much most realms, but those two above are probably your best bet. Queue times arent bad at all, off peak 2v2 queueing at 2.2k mmr takes around 1-5mins not sure about 3s, bgs can be anything from instant to 10 minutes depending on the time of day.



Be prepared to be frustrated in WSG as it isnt uncommon for one team to completely GY camp with 2/3 flags. Also, from my personal experience, Alliance lose a lot more than they win.



Despite all this, I and many others find the bracket enjoyable. Hope this helped.
