Startattack in macros / swing timer

Hey all



Hoping to find some help from a macro expert... can't find a definitive answer to this question on the internet.



Is it safe to spam /startattack, or will it keep resetting my swing timers and thus reduce my DPS?



tl;dr: Will I gimp my white DPS by using a macro like this one?
