Right now thinking Destro, but I'm also curious which is the strongest overall spec.

You will probably want to go with the PvE staff - there is enough hit rating on BiS armor for warlocks that the minimal survivability benefits of GSoJ won't outweigh the spellpower and crit boost of the headmaster's staff.
Destro is easily the best spec - other specs can't put out the same sort of pressure.

I agree with Dory that the PVE staff is best in this case however it depends on your play style if you would reather be a more Defensive player and sruvive longer demonology has so much survivavility, for example they recently added a shield demonology warlocks can get that has 2 charges only like 20 sec cd and it abosrbs around 1300 for each charge, destro is for more 1v1 besides spreading immolate arround and ive never tested afflict but im sure its for those long midfights to be more support for your team and not bursting someone down, imo it depends on how u wanna play.

Destro does the most single target burst.
Affliction does the best spread dmg and you'll most likely will top the dmg charts but you won't win any 1v1s.
Demo has the best mobilty and has the best utility. It doesn't quite do as much single target dmg as destro but does much more than afflic.
