basically want to take this to a separate place to have this discussion as to not clutter the pretty twink cup thread up

conq has said that teams communications will be streamed in 10-15 second clips "at heated moments" but has not elaborated to when and how this is going to be used. so if conq or blackout could maybe elaborate here on that that would be awesome

for the record i think discord is an awesome program and having ONE person from each team in discord for organization purposes is fair and should be required.

there may be players who do not want the stream to jump into their servers..
You cant just assume everyone is going to agree to use a certain voice program just because you want the voices to streamed.

I fail to see the point

It may be entertaining to some to hear the reactions of certain players after an epic play. With that said, it should not be required for teams to have their comms streamed.

It would be cool to have a few seconds of intense coms on stream AFTER the series. The part of the convo that would get streamed would have to be accepted by the team whose convo is being played.

I think if the voice com clips are only used after the game/series has ended. That way you have some really content to go over during down time between matches or on breaks etc.

Yes, teams should just suck it up. You may complain that it allows for your leaders and shot callers to be found out, but same thing goes for the other team, so an even playing field is maintained.

Either way, whether or not it is used, that 'yes but only in certain situations like after games option' is easily the weakest. Ain't nobody got time for negotiating what can and can't be made public.

Or 50% "yes" depending on your perspective.
It seems many on this forum prefer to take the "glass half empty" perspective as opposed to the "glass half full".
It's a different story, since we in this situation have 3 option, and one of those have gotten +50% of the votes.

do you really think that saying "hey teams after series winning games we will pop into your call for a few seconds to give the viewers a taste of the excitement" is that hard?

I would not know since I have not voted and this is not open to public viewing.

If 1/2 voted "no" then it stands to reason that 1/2 would vote "yes". This poll is a yes or no question is not? It is... One of the "yes" answers just happens to have a stipulation. But it is still a "yes". It would have been different if it was Yes/no/maybe. But it is Yes/no/yes.
Again, I cannot see the result of the vote because I did not vote. I did not vote because I did not like the way the question was worded. So I abstained.

i was trying to think of a middle ground for the people who did not want their calls streamed at all and the organizers who wanted to stream communications of teams mid game for "hype". imo it gives teams privacy to their strategy and target callers yet maintains what the organizers wanted.
