How would you farm for a Shadowfang. Would you farm it with a level ninety or would you farm it in a dungeon group?

90, 10 runs per hour. Get an add on that deletes grey items and np.

sell greens in ah cause xmogs (best to do it with the armory app as its easier to undercut people) are expensive kek make cash while farming.
 
Only run SFK 3 or 4 times since the patch and had it drop on one of my chars that can't use it. Won it on a greed roll so is now sitting in bank. Think they've upped the drop rates on rares so folk can gear up before WOD drops, will no doubt revert back to normal once the xpac hits

The reason SF didn't drop the "normal" rate before was that they lowered the level of enemy npc's, therefore their iLvL drop range was lowered, and SF had to drop off of bosses and such.
 
Lol I would run it on a 90 so you dont get it ninjad by a level 22 lock...its just you...and no warlock

Ah... But if everyone has it and it is no longer as "rare" as it once was, it's "swag" factor and luster have been lost. It is just another sword that everyone has access to.
Compare it to a once sought after title that is now common place. Do you now use that title that everyone has? Probably not...

Since every item isn't that rare anymore ... your reply goes down. The fact that shadowfang is Rarer than other items remains , and the +1 goes to Juno's reply. That's why i said "That's a good point" .

I presume you have facts to back up the SF is "rarer" than all since 6.0. I have been seeing people post left and right about getting them, sometimes two of them. And that is the small small sample population of this little website in this small section of it.
Face it, Shadowfang's ultra rarity is a thing of the past, along with many other items, unless something changes. That is not to say it s not a nice transmog if you like it. Who the hell cares what others think. Only shallow minded people think that way.
Hell the only toon I have transmogged uses a BoA sword because I like the look of it.

Loads of people including myself has done over 100 runs with no luck, so it's still the rarest by far..
 
Get a 90 -> get 25 in Enchanting -> get in a group with a random dude (doesn't have to be online or in the instance -> go farm SFK -> when green drops press disenchant for instant disenchanting, all uncommon/rare loot will show when you just press the corpse of the mobs, you dont have to loot greys/whites/cloths
