As [MENTION=11757]verh[/MENTION] said in this scenario your sense of what "fully f2p" is, has nothing to do with anything.. Also f2p means = free to play, therefor being linked to the same battlenet has nothing to do with not being a f2p.

The boes are still obtainable (drop from bosses only), but rift bracers aren't.

Shadowfang can only drop from mobs that are lvl 21+ which is only the bosses.
Duskbringer and Gloomshroud Armor can only drop from level 22+ mobs which has caused it not to drop since like mid wotlk.

Rift Bracers was a BoP and was a specified boss drop, the reason that it's so rare is cause it used to have lvl 20 req which is why nearly no 19s got them.

Sto @ Hyjal - Community - World of Warcraft is prob. not a f2p base on his profession statistics.

Achievements -> Statistics -> Skils -> Proffessions or
Statistics - Community - World of Warcraft

He was a lv 405 Echantor, lv 525 Engineer, lv 300 leather worker, lv 375 Skinner, and a lv 390 Tailor.

But it looks like he is following f2p rules, seem like he is not using secondary gears with geming.
