Shadow priests

I just wanted to know what shadow priets are like and if they are viable for premading. And just any tips on how to play them

Their dps is the worst of any dps spec and their utility is not great. I would not take one on a premade. Disc priests damage output is higher. They're not a great spec atm, which is a pity.

You guys are making them sound completely terrible, most people wouldnt play one but occasionally i respec shadow on my priest. It is a fun spec and with shadow orbs you can hit really high. Mindflay and swp dont have that bad of damage output and it has a nice slow. Idnt think it is a good premade class, maybe it will be sometime but it is a fun thing to play in PuGs.
