SF and Assasasasassin's Blade Review.

Hey all.

I've been looking around places and everywhere is different. Been wondering if i could just ask instead of keep looking.



I need to know exactly where/and off what Assasin's blade&Shadowfang drops off of in Shadow Fang Keep.

I've heard many possibilities, But from all my farming, i haven't gotten one of either of them. That is a month and 3 days of farming.

Shadowfang only drops from SFK, from any one of 5 bosses. 0.01% drop rate.

Assassin's Blade drop has been changed from sfk to a world drop. From all accounts it only drops from chests/lockboxes post patch. Anywhere from Wetlands to Hillsbrad Foothills by pickpocketing.



I have yet to see anyone saying they got it from SFK since they opened it to a world drop.

Lupine Horror's can still drop them as well.
 
I wander how many of you guys farming SFK has had them to drop without even noticing because you didn't loot the mob, i bet if you knew how many dropped, you'd be fly-kicking yourself in the teeth...
 
Ran SFK 1200 times myself, had my mates running 3500 times combined, total of 4700 runs, only drop a mate got was a BoE blue staff, of which the name has slipped my mind.



It's fun at the start to keep beating your speed run record, and I got really good at it. But after 1200 runs I gave up, and I don't often.



Serious stuff if you plan on wasting a few weeks.

I really doubt that. I remember you being that rogue from Bronzebeard who honestly didn't give a fuck about his playstyle, especially as being one of the - if not thé - worst rogues of the server. On TwinkInfo you've been talking a lot about how much spare-time you've invested in your twink (getting Explorer-title the legal way) and how much you want to invest in your new plans, getting that Of the Alliance-title. How's it going? Your armory only show a progress of 1k. That's like.. 95.000 hk's to go! Gogo!



Saying you've run SFK 1200 times would mean you'd have wasted about 12,5 pure days of actual /played (without any pause, considered 15 mins a run - so counted up with the regular slacking, flying and repairs would mean about 13.5 days) for just... well, - *gives a look on your weapons again* - nothing?
 
I sometimes wish people payed attention to the front page. If they did they would realize that it can be gotten from lockboxes and chests since a previous patch, and therefore assassin's blade is going to drop in price rapidly. I am not aware of a case where shadowfang has dropped outside of SFK yet, but I would like to mention that paying over 1k for a 19 twink weapon thats not even considered one of the best anymore is incredibly stupid, and a terrible assessment on the buyers part as to whether its the best twink weapons or not. Thrash blade makes assassin's blade look like crap now, and shadowfang is still slightly better at best.
 
i would say that shadowfang IS still the best, and.. so is assasins blade in some situations (eg. ambush with +5 damage chant) but not in OH. the price on assasins blade WILL drop alot if it does come from chests/lockboxes, as it will no longer be as rare imo, but shadowfang is still 0.01% drop and WONT be found more often, meaning, its price will still be high.

and i think alot of people would pay 1k easily for a shadowfang, i know i would like a few for 1k ea if i could... who cares if its on a level 19.
 
Quite the opposite. There are fewer people in those level ranges than before because of current content/leveling strategies. There will be considerably fewer Assassin's Blades than before.



1k ? from a friend maybe. But because of the drop rate, the inflaited gold influx, and demand. Shadowfangs will go for easily +3-5k gold.
 
Assassin's Blade is trash for anything but a dagger rogue. NO it is NOT a good OH. NO, it is not good for a stats. NO, do not use it in your MH with a dagger build, noone that can play well will show you their back FFS.

Yea, I always loot everything because I'm so paranoid.
