server to go to?

There are lots of threads about this, but I'll recap.
Aerie peak is the place to go! Very friendly community, easy leveling, fun battlegrounds. Horde is absolutely the best side to go, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. In terms of class, play around with each and see what appeals to you. They are all fairly different at this level, so it's a good experience. You can browse the stickies at the top of the forums, they have some good info in them.

Aerie Peak US is the unofficial F2P server, and has a large and active community. Personally, of course, I have to recommend that you come join us over at Emerald Dream US, Horde-side.

As for classes, most are viable. Hunters are generally regarded as the most powerful class in the bracket and will usually top damage charts. Paladins are less powerful, but much more versatile. Priests are excellent healers. Rogues take some skill to play, but can be very powerful when used correctly -- especially against an enemy flag carrier. However, they're fairly squishy in direct combat. Druids are, like paladins, very versatile; they can make especially good flag carriers because they can move quickly in cat form whilst carrying the flag. Warlocks and warriors are generally regarded as being underpowered.

As for faction, that's up to you. At this point, the two factions are far more even than they once were -- rolling Alliance means that gearing up is easier, while rolling Horde means quicker queues.

That's true for Aerie Peak; there's a less active Alliance community there, though the server has more Alliance 85s. That may not necessarily be the case on other servers. It used to be that Alliance 20s and 24s far outnumbered their Horde adversaries -- and they still do (hence the longer queue times for Alliance), though that's increasingly less true.

My guess is that the reason you were recommended Horde AP is because it's so active.

There really isn't a definitive answer as to which faction is stronger. A recent influx of horde 24 real ID premades has really been hurting the balance as of late. Alliance in general has a more OP class spectrum, where horde has a ridiculous amount of 24s. Queue times are short for both factions, however horde tend to be faster. The win balance of pvp is leaning more toward horde side atm, but if the 24s slow down I can imagine it will go back toward alliance.

Imo Alliance has better community
When i rolled Horde i saw ppl flaming eachother...
And alliance needs more people :S

well i play 19 twinks but want to try something different, i like to be on the uneven side so ali it is, i have a 19 rogue, paly, lock, mage, druid. so idk what to make. prob a druid cause i wanna fc

If you wanna be with the underdogs I'd roll horde, and druid is a good option if you like to take the road less played. There definitely aren't a ton of resto druid fcs. And they're a lot of fun** to play.

**disclaimer: fun when you're not being ganked by something so hopelessly imba that you haven't a prayer of living nore than a few seconds, and even that can be fun if you're a masochist like the rest of us.

That's the spirit!!!

Horde on ap is fun, theirs a lot of premades going, war games and partymaker who does daily BFD runs for

omgwtf pwn drops. Not sure about ap alliance though. Rolling a Druid is fun to. If you want a AGM I would pick a diff realm tbh or get sokme 85 connections to help.
