I'd do the same thing, sometimes its frustrating when people don't listen to the people that know what they are talking about. so the "maybe you'll listen to me now as I'm killing your ass" mentality could have a lasting effect for the next time they happen to be on the same team.

BTW, I went to alliance for a week. There are some really good players over there. The good ones are just usually way outnumbered by the mid camping kidtards.
