Saw a 10 mage with food buff giving 500+stam and 200+ int. What item?

just search on ah for food you can use or search by blue "rare" type. All food scales to your lvl and even the tooltip you see on someone else might be missleading/wrong. It can say 500 stam and it only gives them 300 for example.

The tooltip was scaled down with it saying 500+. I want to say they had 1600 or 1800 HP. They had a couple other buffs but that was the one that really stood out. Recount was showing them doing 800+ dps

Don’t recall seeing the mage in question but I would assume it was another new TWW food item. Could be wrong though.

Possibly. I just cant find anything that is supposed to give that much stats. Maybe was a bug. I have discovered that the buff timer for https://www.wowhead.com/item=222726/stuffed-cave-peppers resets if you log out before it ends. Only thing I can think of is its not a normal food item that can be found on the AH, or it was bugged early on and that players been maintaining the timer on it. I did a run on my 10 mage using it and only managed to avg 318 dps.

It could have also been from a TWW feast. The scaling on all the new food is so messed up that it’s really hard to tell.

On my 29 Rogue Mycobloom Risotto gives 155 stamina and 77 agility while the feast gave me 221 primary stat.

Yeah, idk. All the feasts Ive seen only do 1 stat, and his buff was stam and int. like the pepper, but higher stats than what its supposed to give before any scaling takes place. Gonna keep hunting around I guess and hope I can catch them in a run again and get an answer. I havent bought TWW or Id be scouring the vendors looking for a unicorn, lol. Thanks for replying.

ok so I found the armory and the mage is pandaren so mistery of huge food buff solved
Epicurean: Your love of food allows you to receive double the stats from Well Fed effects.

Interesting, Ive never seen that before. But with prior food stuff it really wasnt much of a change. Their stats were still much higher than what that should allow, but that could have been another buff playing a part. Will have to test this out. One more thing on all of this regarding the new foods. The lower stat foods scale much better. So, https://www.wowhead.com/item=222712/sweet-and-sour-meatballs will give you better scaled stats than the https://www.wowhead.com/item=222726/stuffed-cave-peppers does.
Odds are that mage was using the meatballs. Either way, the new foods are great, try them.
