RP and stuff.

  • Aight, so I never RP'ed and didn't really give much regards on the whole matter. But a close friend of mine kept bugging me about it. Made a new twink cuz all of mine aren't in RP realms. Created it's backstory, took me days. And I was ready, he taught me a thing or two about it and I installed the necessary addons. I was expecting something nice, but honestly i'm rather disappointed. Almost all of the people are either standing there self absorbed in their own OC and just waiting to be approached, or just want flirty/erp.

There were some dope interactions, met 3 folks who were nice and I felt immersed. I needed that kind of interaction, but alas, most people would just rather stand there and wait for someone to approach them. I do all I can to walk up to people and start something, but yeah idk. Also good god, majority of the players are either a Blood-elf or vulpira. And what exactly is so special in Valley of Honor for everyone to be gathered in? The rest of Org is a ghost town, what about Valley of Spirits? The place is a good vibe.
And my biggest gripe is just no one does RP in the open world, everyone is in the capital city.

Is Horde rp in Wyrmrest Accord this mediocre, or am I missing something?

    or just want flirty/erp
Oh I've never, WOULD never do such a thing, abhorent. Imagine, stooping to such low of the low, such uncouth base instincts as to... (Trails off as he recalls his numerous encounters all across Azeroth)

On a more serious note, my Horde RP info is way outdated, but peeps used to gather in Silvermoon, don't recall which realm. As to Alli, Goldshire's the low-hanging fruit of course, but I'm unaware of a similar spot for Horde. Gilneas was a big spot too, as was Zul'Gurub.

Sadly RP is not exactly spontaneous nowadays.

Well to be fair I have only played/RPed on French servers which are prolly a fair bit less active than some other servs so take these infos with a grain of salt.

RP is generally prettt organized, with guilds and set events.
"Sponaneous" RP is a fair bit less common (to not say entierly inexistant) and our trial limitations dampen the envy to do it with us even more.

From my experience the best RP for trials is either with friends, somehow meeting someone willing enough to put up with trials or doing it on your own (can be quite fun to immerse yourself and you may find someone this way, can happen).

Look there isn't two ways around it : we trials have a generally bad (and sometimes deservedly so) reputation and that's even worse on RP servers since so many folks use trials as a "dumpster account" to ERP freely.
It can be tough to find a circle to RP with but with time it's almost a guarantee you'll find.
