Okey so I can now afford my 16th trait on my rogue.

The idea from the begining was to go for Blood of the assassinated as my 2nd golden trait.

But since I got the engi head with pure mastery, lego boots and Eyasu's Mulligan trinket I feel like I use rupture only for the energy gain.

When I burst, rupture does about 5% of my dmg.. Blood of the assassinated would have a chanse to proc that to 10%.

Thats why I feel like respeccing would be a good idea, removing Gushing Wounds and go for Posion Knives instead and then Surge of Toxins afterwards.

Posion Knife increases Agonizing Posion's damage bonus from 56% to 60% (+ Fan of Knives dmg)
Surge of Toxins increases Agonizing Posion's damage bonus from 60% to 65%.

So its almost a 10% dmg increase to all my abilities, including rupture.

Alltho I loose 10% rupture dmg from Gushing Wounds, I regain that with Agonizing Posion.

I really cba farming to much traits, but with this build I feel like I get the most important ones with this high mastery.

Am I thinking compleatly wrong or does it make sense? :)
 
Poison Knives and Surge of Toxins have good synergy with our mastery, and a mastery heavy build is currently the way to go. Blood of the Assassinated is definitely not worth getting, at least for now. Perhaps things will be different in 7.2.5 however, as they are thinking about removing Agonizing Poison.

I am going with the bleed for now as my damage charts look greatly different than yours. I'll key in my rotation for you to check on it if this is PvE based.
The bleeds are fantastic imo. Though extra damage on Vendetta would be neat too. See the main reason I am going for the bleed trait because of all the surrounding traits.
Traits heading to the Vendetta are not on the same tier as the others imo.

Lord I hope not......

Artifact wise (world pvp) I went straight to bag of tricks and then Poison knives and surge of toxins (13 traits). With surge of toxins up my agonizing poison stacks to 69% extra damage. If I ever farm more ap I would go for the 6% crit increase to mutilate or the 30 second cooldown reduction on Vendetta.

Btw I always wondered if that Illusion can be used on characters that aren't max level.

Uppdate:

So I just got an 855 Six-Featherd Fan with socket and some 845 bracers with socket.

This give me 9153 mastery (325%). Agonizing adds 58% dmg and 72% with Surge of toxins :)

Six-Featherd Fan hits for 100k non-crit without Surge of toxins.

91% Agonizing with mastery proc on trinket.. :p

Still 2/3 on Master Alchemist, chest without socket and quite low ilvl overall :)

With some questionable math, I calculated From the Shadows can crit for about 500k (every 2 sec) with all my cds poped (calculated by my envenom crit at 7.2 mil and then % from the tooltips on Envenom and From the Shadows).

However, this is with masteryproc on trinket, Prolonged Potion and Legendary ring. I also had Surge of Toxins + Pray on the Weak active when I hit 7.2 mil.

Without ring, Surge of Toxins and Pray on the Weak, thats -40%, -14%, -15%. So probably arround 200k-250k crits and arround 150k hits? Correct me if I'm wrong :)

In this case, I think Master Alchemist is better overall but it really comes down to what you are aiming for :)

Viby, from your experience.. 865-870 ilvl gear do you get a power boost from it without sockets or is 845 with sockets still better?

I can't tell because there is like a 300-500 agility difference, my mastery will drop to like 250% if I rock the 860-870 I think?

Well since my highest ilvl gear pice is 855 I wouldn't rly know :)

My guess is that agi will allways come out on top, depending on how much higher the ilvl is. I read somewhere that a pice of gear is like 10 to 15 ilvl worth if it also has a socket. But that has to depend on the valeu of 2ndary stats for that class / specc.

As of right now, I could buy 870+ peices without a socket, I think they are better, but I rather wait for ones with sockets so I dont have to replace an expensive 870 peice without socket :)
