Rifle Commander's Eyepatch > Stained Shadowcraft Cap

Vortalex

The Druid
For you rogues playing on actual accounts that want to level rep in a guild for the BoA helmet, don't even bother.

Assuming that you are wearing the following:

• Stained Shadowcraft Tunic

+3.24% Chance to Hit

• Ello's Band

+1.39% Chance to Hit

-----------

SET 1:

Rifle Commander's Eyepatch

+110 Health Points

+1.27% Critical Strike Chance

+3.70% Chance to Hit

+20 Attack Power

Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders

+60 Health Points

+0.95% Critical Strike Chance

+2.18% Damage Reduction

+15 Attack Power

Total:

+170 Health Points

+2.22% Critical Strike Chance

+8.33% Chance to Hit

+2.18% Damage Reduction

+35 Attack Power

-----

SET 2:

Stained Shadowcraft Cap

+110 Health Points

+2.35% Critical Strike Chance

+1.85% Chance to Hit

+18 Attack Power

Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders

+40 Health Points

+1.11% Critical Strike Chance

+1.85% Chance to Hit

+18 Attack Power

Total:

+150 Health Points

+3.46% Critical Strike Chance

+8.33% Chance to Hit

+36 Attack Power

-----------

So basically with SET 1, you gain an extra:

+20 Health Points

-1.24% Critical Strike

+2.18% Damage Reduction

-1 Attack Power

Seeing as this is PvP where survive-ability and damage output comes into play, and that rogues tend to rely more on Agility itself than Critical Strike, and assuming you are the average rogue using the Subtlety spec:

[Nightstalker] 2/2

[Improved Ambush] 3/3

[Waylay] 1/2

The minor decrease in Critical Strike Rating will not effect most of your moves, or your [Ambush], and the extremely low loss of 1 Attack Power isn't exactly going to kill you. You end up gaining an additional 20 Health Points, and 2.18% Damage Reduction from all sources.

If anyone has any questions or suggestions, feel free to add in.

Pointless thread, just going to reduce the chance of people making horde rogues/hunters even more. I did enjoy the comparison though.

The point was to prevent people from wasting time grinding months of rep for a useless helmet.

Also, no matter what, people will have to play horde and I'm sure many people want to.

If anything, reduced amounts of rogues and hunters would be SPECTACULAR.

1. Go horde

2. No hunt pally or rogue, we have enough of them

and id say... Anything but a huntard and your good!

Anything besides a rogue, paladin, or hunter. I want to see variation! :)

The boa helms are still bis for all horde classes.

Any F2Players can't get.

So now, let's compare eyepatch vs LFH. I see

I did not say "Rifle Commander's Eyepatch > Lucky Fishing Hat"

This has to do with the item comparison in general. Find some other combinations of gear to work with, I'm sure you'll work something out.

And as I said before, not everyone is a rogue or hunter

First, I'd like to know what the hell your answer was all about concerning my comment, but hell.

Second

Maybe not, but every class that can wear this, will NEED this. Even if they don't use agi, the stam+crit is better then anything else they can get.

Idk what I was getting across but.. fixed.

Stam+hit*

• Any healer will not need this.

• Any damage spellcaster can easily make up the hit loss, and I'm pretty sure LFH covers the stamina >_>

• It seems like a lot of mail pieces nowadays have hit rating on them,

so to me it seems almost pointless for a warrior/paladin to use it anyways.

BoA head cannot be obtained on a F2P account.

This head, this engineering +4stam+4spi, WBFH and LFH are the only option.

This head is in leather, so obviously, no big change for both faction.

Where this get a problem is that:

Shaman (The most OP class of the bracket)

Rogue

Hunter

Druid

Paladin

Warrior

Alliance

Are all getting this.

It's BiS for all these class but FCer.

There's no way a paladin or warrios would sacrifice the crit from agi+the hit to get 4 more stam.

No way any leather wearing class would take 4stam more against all the agi and hit on this head.

And for a shammy/hunter/Rogue/Druid, this is just amazing BiS.

Horde have no option. Only LFH. Can you imagine a shaman alliance vs a shammy horde, having 8hit right of the bat more then the horde one. AWW

Most mail comes with hit, and agility isn't very good for someone wearing mail.

Anyone can replace the hit that the helm gives without loosing a lot of stats,

and as for the agility, I'm sure the +20 Attack Power and +1.27% Critical Strike Chance is good and all, but isn't going to change the outcome of a WSG or even a 1v1. Please remember Skill>Gear.

A couple of stats isn't going to make people choose one faction over the other.

There's something you don't get.

F2Players can't get BoA helm.

And there's no other head appart from engineer one, WBFH, LFH and this one at level 20.

So get one of the others, a few stats isn't going to end you.

Let's make a comparaison.

LFH

84 Armor

15Stamina

VS

RCE

110 Armor

8 Agi

11 Stamina

8 Hit

A few stats won't make any difference? I'm not talking about 2-3 stats difference, I'm talking about a straight 12 stats difference.

Btw, having the ability to almost hit cap yourself with just one piece, in a world were you don't have +5Hit boots, it's pretty ENORMOUS.

Also, if you're a Rogue/Druid/Hunter, this piece gives you the enormous amount of straight 8agi.

Also, a paladin would rather have 8 hit+8agi (Crit) then 4stam

Tell me it's just a little difference and you'll make yourself look like a freaking tool all over TI.

Theres always bis items on diffrent sides.

8hit, 8agi, armor >4stam is more then just a BiS item on another side.

You know, when we talk about a ring with 1 stam more on horde then on alliance, Alright

But I'm talking about a piece twice as good as anything available to horde.
