19s will be back up and running with daily pops on the 24[SUP]th (Saturday)[/SUP] of May 8pm EST
Why has this date been selected?
I want to play it safe. What I mean by that is I don’t want to push daily games when I know we don’t have the numbers. We haven’t had the biggest turn out for the scheduled games anyway, so I doubt we could push daily at the moment. A lot of people I’ve talked to are busy still and don’t have time for 19s till summer/late May. Also 90s would be far into the season, meaning quite a few people will get bored from end game.
Agonist why do you sound like you have all the power and that your decisions are the final decisions?
Frankly I’m sick of posts like ‘’hey guys I was wondering if you think we should queue next week?’’.
People need to stand up with a confident voice and demand 19s be active again. At the end of last year people had the attitude ‘’ 19s are so boring and dumb’’. With realizing how better the games Telle organized I decided that I was going shovel every single person I could out of that god awful 24 bracket and kick their ass into 19s. Instantly people who were whining before told me how great 19s were. We need leaders in this bracket, if I’m the one to do it then I’m the one to do it. I desperately want 19s to pop into a competitive atmosphere, if that means me looking like a dictator, so be it.

Preparations:
I would highly recommend before the set date that you start gearing up new 19s so you can engage right from the get go instead of gearing throughout queue times. Play something you haven’t played before, try a new experience. Buy double up on BoA’s and chants so you don’t have to keep mailing them. I’ve updated the 19 Armory so it’s definitely a good place to start.
What we need: Shamans, Warlocks, Mages, and Monks
What we have moderate supply of: Druids, Warriors and Paladins
What we don’t need: Hunters, Rogues, and Priests
Class/spec that can be viable but aren’t recommended:
Shadow Priest, Enhance Shaman, Ret Paladin, and Fury Warrior,
Guests: I'm still seeeing way too many guests browsing threads. Please make an account and help contribute if you have a 19.

People/Guilds that need to come back:
Skill Ratio: There is no denying Skill Ratio is the biggest force for 19s, it has been for years. Where ever they go masses of people follow. I mean look at how many people followed them into the 24 bracket. I saw so many previous 19s who leveled to 24 because SR decided that 19s were a deadbeat bracket. I really do hope they attend 19s this Summer. I’ve done my part in trying to persuade them. They’re not as keen as I would hope. If they join, our numbers will sky rocket. They are a huge force for activity and competition. Even if you hate them, they are a key to the brackets survivability.
Tough Love: I’m hoping these guys will resub US come Summer and get horde rolling up again. Hopefully even play the first premade
. I’ve been waiting to see a ATW or SR vs TL premade for a long time. Last Summer TL didn’t have the greatest appearance. They missed all the Summer premades due to a few inactive members. TL only plays when they have all their players present otherwise it’s a no go. I’m pumped up for TL to vs all the US guilds and show em what they’ve got. Only US team they’ve vsed so far is a real id premade.
Against the World/Old Train Cow members: Hunnybuns is a man who will have a great impact on the bracket. We need this guy for premades and to get his whole guild up and running. He’s a cool dude and I really hope he turns up as much as possible this Summer along with his guildies. Get the stream going for 19s Buns!
Warsong Walords: Driving force for ally last Summer. They were also annihilating Horde In December getting to the gy every time they Queued. I miss Daedricdeath and his groups. Hopefully we see him in Summer.
NA possibly? Not sure what happened with them but it would be good to see an appearance there. Revenge from the SR premade maybe?

Moderation:
I said it in my original restoring 19s thread and I’ll say it again ‘’Arguing and squabbles create a competitive atmosphere’’. I know it sounds weird, but the 19 community has been known to be a unique bracket from the rest. If you grab every other bracket and compare it to 19s drama wise, you’ll still be comparing a cent to a ‘’insert biggest thing here’’. 19s has been iconic to drama and when you take this drama away from the site we end up with a show like My Wife and Kids.
Look at every active point in 19s over the last few years and tell me with a straight face that there wasn’t a lot of drama threads/posts.
What needs to be done?
We need moderators as I’ve said before to be lenient. Mods have cleared the squabbles and drama threads and look what we have, a forum in which we only see two posts a day and in many cases it’s the same person. Sure, many are constructive posts, but look at the brackets state. It’s a mass graveyard.
So TLDR
I am not saying this is the sole reason of course. I admit people may just have gotten bored with the mechanics or irl problems, even a few from gy containment (however this is in direct correlation with competitive games). But over-moderation is a huge part of the brackets decline.
I know the CoC doesn’t allow half the things I’m saying or quoting, but if we don’t allow what I’ve proposed we will see a hit towards the community come Summer. Is enforcing the CoC really more important than having an active/competitive bracket? I really want our mods to test it. If you don’t realize more activity or people posting in 19s then I am wrong. I don’t believe I’m wrong here, and I know if we allow the changes we will get a positive result towards activity and competition.
I want 19s to be the best possible experience come summer and I really strongly feel that if you allow the changes I’ve proposed that our bracket will thrive.

I don’t want to just have the tourney premades. I want premades getting prepared as soon as we hit may 24[SUP]th[/SUP] . We need to start off this Summer early and get the ball rolling. My ideal rules for 10v10 premades here

Too early to tell. If people actually commit to Summer and we have an amazing games/atmosphere, hopefully people will keep queuing.
