Recommendations for 30s?

i see the bis lists, i see the theory crafts, but i dont see a discussion on fun and damage for each spec besides a comment that resto shams can dps as heals and healers really arent needed that much in 30s raiding. i want to join the thrall guild for the feat of strength and i want to know what class i should pick, for damage or fun or best use case. ive got a 10 mistweaver monk set up that will eventually get infinite timeweaver if i dont set up a 30 before that. what do you reccomend? should i stick to grinding with the 10? are monks with more limited options compared to the the other classes good at 30?
