EU+US racial base stats in legion battlegrounds

with our stats being set to blizzard's stats in battlegrounds in legion, will the race of our character have any effect on the accumulation of our stats?

I guess only the racial passives will be taken into account (like worgen's +1% crit), for the base race + class stats... Maybe it will be counted by Blizz for their templates, but I doubt that.
