quick question on inscription shoulder enchants

Do you need to keep Inscription profession? once its been applied to the shoulders?

various other tooltips, like Leatherworking etc i believe, it says you need to maintain something like 400 LW for it to be active, but i dont see this on the Inscription shoulder enchants.

Wondering if its worth me leveling inscription for the +120 attack power, putting it on, then swapping to Enchanting for the +80 from rings?

There has not been one whisper of this from anyone so no. Also everyone at 80 would have to do this, and they didn't even allow that to happen with ring enchants in tbc.
