Question about the midsummer transmog.

I've heard that the midsummer festival cosmetic items can only be transmogged during the event and once the event is over all gear with said transmog will be wiped clean. Is that really the case?

Also can a level 29 even obtain enough burning blossoms for the whole set?

I'm not sure about ur mog question. I personally don't like the look of the mogs but if u did it, my gut feel would be that it'll remain even after the festival but I can't prove that.

With ur other question, if u travel to all the locations and honour the fires I'm sure you'll come close to getting all the blossoms you need. I've started in Pandaria and u get 15 per fire if I recall. Then the few dailies and if u get all the other zones u would be fairly close.

Event transmogs are only able to be transmogged during the event Dates, the mogs will persist through event time frame if they're mogged, and or remain Mogged or unchanged, the Screenshot below shows what happens after you unmogged a Event cosmetic after the Event is over. http://imgur.com/a/Tbshb
