Quest for a Shadowfang

So I was just checking Undermine Journal like usual, when suddenly I see a Shadowfang for only 80g! This was my chance, a shadowfang! I check the realm, it's called Gordunni. I sort through all the english servers, nothing there. French? Nothing there. Spanish? Nothing there. I finally get to the russian realms and realize I have to get the russian client. Will I really go this far for a shadowfang? Why of course!
So I download the client, with multiple errors during installing the client because I don't understand shit. I finally get on the server and run to the AH. What do I find? No. Shadowfang. I ask multiple people to search the AH for me hoping I just couldn't find it because I am a noob at russian. Nope, it's just not there. So there's a story for you kids, people will do just about anything for money (or a shadowfang!). Shoutout to Dreeze for trying to get it with me, and to anyone else who's ever tried getting into the russian servers. You know how difficult it is :p
 
Something similar happened with a Gloomshroud Armor a couple of months ago.

Someone who actually plays Russian servers ended up getting it and posting the SS, I believe.

the trick is to find ANY on ANY SERVER and then add the guy when he logs in offer him like 10$ for it then turn it around for a profit...

By then it'll be gone... Begging is pretty much the only way unless you have a main there.
 
I actually thought this thread was about someone asking which quest to complete to acquire Shadowfang xd! Would have not been too surprised tbh.
 
I can speak from experience, begging is the way to go- i've had 2 fangs slip trough my fingers when i offer money while someone scoops it up. On the other hand, i have begged my way to 3 free shadowfangs, still wts 2 pm me :)

Yes, I almost always beg, but since I was on a russian realm, I wasn't sure if I could actually view the item (russian client and all that). I copy/pasted the russian item name and it wasn't there, but I wanted to be sure. So I asked a couple people, all of which said it was not there. Which turned out to be true as Azol got it :)
