Prot Pally BiS Fc for Wargames

As of right now in the meta of wargames every team seems to roll druids for their fc 100% of the time. But I argue Prot pally is more BiS because of the stronger off heals, silence ability which can be crucial against enemy healers, Hammer of justice, and lay on hands. Yes I know druids have best mobility but in wargames speed doesnt have an impact because you have to stay with group and by the time your team gets the kill stacks will probably be high.

What are your guys thoughts?
 
Druids have more health, armor, and more mobility. If a Fc needs to get to its group fast that's why they roll Druids so they can run to their group as fast as possible and since they go faster it takes way time being alone so they don't die.

I used to be a prot paladin fc myself, I know how they work so explain how they have better off heals? I did like 346 flash of lights on my bis sta 29. And the thing that makes resto druids better is their mobility, health/armor and the 25 % less dmg they take than a tank spec.

other people have brought up that an arms warrior might be the next best after resto, you got the damage reduction of defensive stance plus you not taking the extra tank spec damage of prot, although you're really slow.

not sure what kinda hunters you got playing f2p right now but something is seriously wrong if they allow a non druid fc to leave the base alive

Fury would be the better choice out of the 2 seeing as it can weild a 2h in main hand and a shield in off hand. Plus they have the spamable AoE slow aswell as defencive stand and not having increase damage taken for being a tank.
 
Stealth is a core of FCing atm in the bracket. And you do not posses a "displacer beast" as a paladin. But it is a good class to FC though, i just wouldn't see advantage in its usage, since the team that has a druid will have the upper hand. Think about it this way, they have a fc resto druid and a boomy. You have a fc prot pally and a boomie. Their team is going to stay on you 24/7 to prevent you from passing. Therefore you'd be forced to send a boomy to get the flag. Meanwhile their boomie will stay in mid and probs destroy your team. Leaving your FC Boomie to rot because your team will be pushed to GY, considering both teams have "equal" knowledge and synergy.

I do still enjoy logging on to my 29 lock to shits and giggles fc now and then. Leap + 30% armor form + haste-buffed hellfire vs stealthies and a pretty much unlimited aoe snare kicks ass. Not really doable without heals on a 20 since you're sacrificing most of your meta uptime for a single target snare- without glyphed hand, any melee who waits for meta or leap cd to pop has an easy time of it lol

But it's still fun :D
