Prot Paladin Weapon Choice?

I've been playing ret so far for all of 4.0 and it's not bad, but I wanna change it up a little. I've decided to try out prot with a bit of FC'ing and whatnot and was wondering if I should use butcher's slicer due to it's stats (4 str 3 stam ) or shadowfang for the extra deeps. Also, would



Any pallies out there that can help me out? Thanks

if you are fcing probably butchers or 4stam blue 1h sword (cant remember name)

but if dps shadowfang

i dont own a pally but just guessing

I've been using butcher's. SF is probably better because of dps, havn't used one though.

the dps is only .5 more than butcher's though, so it can't make that much of a difference

It doesn't make too much of a difference. You may also consider switching to BaR when the avenger's shield is on CD.

I use boa mace (4 stam 3 Agil 2 haste 2 crit), it's pretty good.
