Prof for mistweaver

So yeah, what professions should I get for my mistweaver monk? Mining or skinning? One spot is already saved for herbalism. I'm going for alot of crit already and it would be nice with some more but I'm a pretty easy target since I can't heal while moving and soothing mist are pretty slow without enveloping mist rdy so stam is cool too, thoughts?. :/

This is one of those things that you're supposed to be able to decide by yourself. Do you more highly value 70hp or 3% crit for your character?

I say go skinning. I feel as if the crit would be more benefit to you and others rather than an additional 70 hp.

are mistweavers even viable?
It depends on the team u face I would say. Mistweaver does amazing healing when nobody targets them, I really mean amazing healing. Just run around and get these chi or wtf they are called by hitting some pets and everything survives pretty much. If that doesn't work then no, dies insta and healing with lazer alone is pretty weak.

are mistweavers even viable?

I've seen mistweavers do well in pugs, however I do question their viability in a more organized, premade setting. It would be interesting to see if they could actually pull it off. It's been said already but to say it again, if a mistweaver is left alone to free cast, I;ve seen them do an incredible amount of healing. However when you put some pressure on them if feel that they drop off in usefulness because their main heal is channeled and they don't really have a strong instant cast or a bubble like pallies, priests, etc. do

But..but.butt monks can roll and depending on spec can escape.

Which is great in pugs mainly cause there's very little organization and still a lot of people who are mesmerized by a class that rolls around... I feel that most 10-man groups would be organized to come up with a solution through some mix of cc/slows to negate all the fancy rolling around and thus put the pressure back on the monk and reduce his healing output.

However I could be completely wrong in this. Very few people are actually playing mistweaver AT ALL right now, mostly because of the viability question I think, so it's really hard to tell. Would definitely like to see a team try it and share their insights on mistweaver in a more competitive setting.

But yes rolling around is very fun :D

Engineering for the bombs

ahh, for the bombs, i though you used engineering for the scopes. its very clever that you said "for the bombs" otherwise most people would be lost since u know u use engineering for so many other things than just the bombs, right?

idiot -.-

very mature & constructive response, 10/10 would invite to play trivial pursuit
