Does anyone know the proc rate of Searing Blade - Item - World of Warcraft and Sword of Corruption - Item - World of Warcraft. Been looking everywhere but can't seem to find an answer

Not sure about the proc rate, I would imagine it has a 45 sec ICD like most others. In game Searing Blade does not add 1284 damage it only adds 9.

How do you know this info? & do you know the proc rate as of now?
And I was just thinking of making a warrior or monk and have ele force on these weapons so it can tick at a distance with the DoT

I don't think they are too awfully expensive. I would suggest running some tests yourself of some dummies. Just equip it and auto attack it for 30-60 min and check the result with your favorite meter. That way you know for yourself and you can report your findings back to us.
As for WoD numbers, just hop on the PTR, and run your tests there and compare once you are able to transfer your toons over to the PTR. Then you will know if it going to be a viable choice. This is what I do with all of my gear choices. It is what makes twinking fun. Not making a cookie cutter gear set just like everyone else. Or getting enchants just like everyone else. Anyone can do that. But making your OWN set for YOU is what sets you apart from others.

what if I don't wanna be set apart from others? lol jk. I do get what your saying, but getting some info from other could save me some time to do other tests i want to try ;P
anyways. did some tests on Sword of Corruption... sucks ass! proc rate sucks and when it does proc, the elemental force is on cooldown because it took to many hits for the weapon to proc. and 3 secs is just not long enough. But Im still trying to figure out what class would benefit from Searing Blade the best

For PvP, I prefer a nice static enchant enchant. I have been using 30 seconds spellpower for a long long time on my heals. The lowbie brackets are way too bursty to count on procs. The days of firey weapon and icey-chill are long gone.
